Author's pov...

"WHAT!! you don't know to cook..? how's that possible..? your brother is the best cook.. than how did you..?"
He asked still in a shock,  while she already knew this expression would be outcome,  she was fully into the soup.

she completed the soup and look up at him with a weird comeback. "Where to keep the cup?"

He frowned and took the bowl from her hand kept it in the washbasin and started washing it throughly. She knew that he had many questions roaming in his head. So she took a long breath and explained

"I know you must be wondering how I survived 4 years there... um.. I lived with 12 people in single house for first two years. The landlord used to cook for us..." She wasn't even over, she was cut off by Taehyung's uncountable doubts.

"Wait!! You are rich enough to get an apartment or stay in a hostel. Then.. Why live with 12 people..? That too in a single house? Was that home too big?"

He asked in a cold voice as he didn't spoke much and stood beside her, leaning his back to the kitchen island.

She just laughed lightly and smiled.
"Fine ...I'll spit the truth which is completely hidden by me. My mom dad were protective about me and my brother was over protective about me. I was stubborn and showed them that I'm having more than enough money collected. After seeing that they agreed to send me. They gave me money but ( chuckled bitterly ) me being stubborn kept it in back here for being independent."

"Then where did your savings go?"
He asked while staring at her eyes, for which she did the same ,stared deep in his eyes and continued.

"I.. gave it to lisa's dad.."

He felt pity.

This girl... She did everything for her friend and lived with burden. And got back what!? Hate!
yet, still being stubborn and working over night for making money..
She literally gave up her capital to the one who played with her emotions. She doesn't even know the peoples real face. She was being played and this is what she returned with.
He came back from his thoughts when she continued looking back at floor.

"You know, after that I thought to forget everything and became strong. And I had 10 people to relay on. That night I was scared for the first time. As I didn't had money, I mean I did have but it was for study purpose. I asked the security of the airport in the America ,where can I get shelter at cheaper price. That person being a best person kept me in his house, where there were many people and some students like me who were finding for shelter. Till two years I stayed in university and librery for the whole day and at the evening clean the house as it was not too big. After cleaning going for part time job which paid me good enough and at night 6 people slept in hallway and 6 in room."

She said with a small smile as she remember the time she spent 2 year ago but he sighed and got down and came infront of her. Her head was down so he held her chin and made her look at his eyes.

" Umm. I understand that you wanted to be independent but.. asking help for you own family doesn't mean you are burden to them. You understand that!? Even for my hospital...my dad and step father, both are the investors. Inreturn I took over my dad's company and I took the responsibility to take care of jihoo until he completes his study for my step-dad."

He said in a calm way making her understand and she just nervously nod her head as their face were too close to each other. They both were lost in each other but.... the door bell brought them out of their world.

He cleared his throat and fake cough and went to see who is on the door, while she cup her cheeks while turned tomato. She got down and went to see who is on the door and was shocked .. but stayed cool.
