The air in the car seemed too awkward to Y/n. She continued to play with her bag's strap and minutes later the car came to halt. She let out the heavy breath, that she didn't even know how long she held, as soon as Taehyung's mother stepped out of the car. Seeing Jihoo too getting out, he held her hand with his right hand and rubbed it with his both palm. It was too evident to glance at her nervousness.

"Why are you so nervous?" he asked her concern visible in his eyes for her.

She took a deep breath and looked at their hands. "It's not that I'm nervous. I'm just a little confused... If she is your mother and even Jihoo's then Jin oppa's mother.." Her words were cut with his answers clearing her doubts.

"My eomma appa divorced when I was five. My eomma never loved my appa, and he respected her decision to get divorced. My step-dad welcomed her with open arms, they were in love from their teenage years. My step dad was even ready to adopt me officially, but appa refused to give my custody to them. Eomma fought till her fullest to have my custody, but at-last dad got my custody. Eomma married my step-dad, Jihoo's dad, Jeon Jijun. My grandmother was not able to see her son spending his life alone, so she got him married to Jin's mom, whose husband expired in a military mission. Not able to see a widow with a kid of seven years murmuring over a death, he too got married." He finished his words, resting his head to the head rest of his seat.

He spoke calmly, but the chaos in his heart and mind was eating him. Y/n was shocked. The man, she thought was a strong person that would be cure for her wound, seemed horribly wounded. The way he spoke was a way he was calming his own heart. After so many years, someone has asked his life's reality, that was not someone, but his own fiance. Even though they don't love each other he kept his trust in her, to understand his pain, and never again ask his about his harsh past.

They were completely silent till the knock on Taehyung's window pulled both of them out of the silent curfew. Taking a deep breath Taehyung and Y/n both looked at each other before getting out of the car. 

Y/n rotating the car came near Taehyung, who was speaking to a man. She recognized him. Taehyung's dad. Kim Chunghoo. As she stood beside Taehyung she looked at the one of the   successful man of South Korea. She felt a little intimated, standing in-front of her to-be-father-in-law. Observing her, Taehyung interlocked his fingers with her fingers. Bowing her head in respect to Mr.Kim, she stood back. Confident and without any worry with Taehyung's side. 

Kim Chunghoo was impressed, he has seen her for a few time when he visited Min's residence. He was invited to her seven year birthday celebration. All the other time, she was found in studies in her room. Once he had kept a family dinner with Min's at his mansion, but only found Mr&Mrs.Min and Yoongi. When asked, they answered 'she didn't wanted to come as she had her studies lined up.' Well that was the same condition of his own son, so he never thought about it. 

But the time Taehyung called and informed him that he was marrying today and wished his presence, he was surprised and happy both. Once he did bring his marriage topic but that didn't work out. And knowing about the girl his son was marrying and the condition his to-be-daughter-in-law is, he fumed in anger. Taehyung never once hid secrets with his appa, and the same, Mr.Kim never kept his secrets with his son. When Taehyung explained his appa about the way Yoongi tricked his family and the missing figure in Lisa's case was none other than Y/n, it seemed a confusing cube filled with secrets to Mr.Kim.

"Dr.Y/n." Mr.Kim called her name with proudness and a little tease, making Taehyung smirk at his appa's teasing way. When Mr.Kim heard that she is also in medical feild, he didn't like it. But when Taehyung briefed him about her level of working as a junior sergeon at this age is outstanding, he have to agree that she did have a good knowledge in her feild.
