Tryst: Chapter 2

Ella's POV

We walked into the house, and it was packed. Everyone dancing, drinking, making out, everything.

"This is massive!" I yelled over the loud music to Zoe. She smiled back.

"Well it's not only your Welcome Back party, but Joe and his friends wanted to have a party just for the heck of it. Oh yeah, have you seen Joe yet?"

"No, but I definitely want to see him. Is he still the same 12 year old looking boy?" I asked with a chuckle. Zoe laughed with me.

"Well, why don't you decide that for yourself." She pointed over to a direction, and I followed it. My eyes widened.

There next to blonde looking boy was I guess was Joe. He definitely got taller, and much more built. His hair was perfectly styled, and his eyes as vibrant as ever. I will admit, he became very attractive last time I saw him.

"Wow. Puberty finally did it's job." I told Zoe. She laughed once again.

"Go over there, and say hi." I nodded, and her and Alfie went to the kitchen for a drink. I walked over to where Joe was, and tapped his back.

"Why, you don't look 12 years old anymore." I grinned at him. Joe looked at me curiously. Finally his eyes widened in shock.

"Ella! Oh my goodness." He said as he took me into a hug. I laughed and hugged back.

"You definitely look different." He said looking at me up and down.

"It's definitely not just me. Aw, I miss my 12 year old looking Joe." I pretend pouted. He laughed, and looked down, and I smiled.

"Oh Ella. I've missed you."

"Same." I replied.

"Would you like a drink?" He offered.

"Sure. One couldn't hurt." I said as I took the beer bottle.

"So how have you been?" He asked. We spent the next 20 minutes talking about how our lives have been. I explained how I am licensed child psychologist.

"So how about you. Did you become the roof thatcher you always wanted to be." I asked. He smiled.

"Yes. I do thatch roofs, but I also do Youtube." He said. I looked at him curiously.

"Really? You could earn money being a Youtuber?" I asked.

"Oh yeah, if you're famous enough. Zoe's even got a channel."

"Oh really? What's it called." I asked. I never knew any of this. In college I never had much time for internet thing with always being stuffed with homework. Joe smiled.

"Zoella. When you left, a couple months later she started the channel, and she remembered you, so she named her channel that." I smiled. She's so sweet.

"Aw that's so sweet." We kept talking, until Joe's blonde friend came.

"Hey Joe. Up for a game of truth or dare?" He asked.

"Yeah sure mate." He looked back at me.

"Oh yeah Caspar, this is Ella. Ella this is Caspar. He's one of my best mates." I shook Caspar's hand, and gave a "nice to meet you". His bright blue eyes were beautiful, but they did not compare to Joe's unique blue green eyes.

"Oh Ella you should join our game. Let you know the rest of the group." He offered.

"Sure why not." I walked over to their group and introduced myself to everyone. All his friends were very friendly. We were all in a circle. I was in between Tanya and Oli.
