Tryst: Chapter 3

Ella's POV

I awoke to my 9:00 am alarm. I quickly gave myself a stretch, and went to work out. I put on all my workout clothes, and looked out my window. The weather was perfect for running. I grabbed my phone, and put it in my pocket. I then gabbed my ipod, and attached it to my hand. I put the earphones in, and left my apartment complex.

The sun engulfed my body as I jogged through the streets of London. I saw all the cute little shops nearby, and some people walking around. I kept on running until I found myself back at my apartment complex. I walked sluggishly went to my apartment, and straight to the fridge for water. I was super tired and sweaty. After a couple breaths, I was no longer as tired, and decided to take a shower.

I came out smelling better and cleaner. I felt totally refreshed. I checked my phone and saw I had 20 miss calls from Zoe. I quickly tried calling back.

"Ella! Finally, I was so worried something happened to you." She said with concern laced in her voice.

"I just went for a run Zoe, don't freak out." I replied chuckling.

"I am terribly sorry both me and Alfie left without taking you home, it completely slipped our minds. I was totally wasted, and Alfie took me home. I'm so sorry I was way too reckless I forgot about you. Please forgive me Ella." I chuckled a bit at how sorry she. Ah normal Zoe. Always concerned about her friends, and exaggerates the problem.

"Z, I am okay. Really it's fine. Joe just gave me a ride home. Honestly I'd thank Joe." I replied. A huge sigh of relief came from the line.

"That's good. I'll be sure to tell him 'thanks later"." I put the phone on speaker as I brushed my hair.

"So how are you? If you got wasted, that hangover must not be treating you well." A huge groan came on and I chuckled.

"It's the worst one yet. But it should go away. Which leads me to asking, wanna go shopping?" I frowned slightly.

"I can't." I replied.

"Aw why not." I felt Zoe's pout through the phone.

"I'm having breakfast with Joe." I said quietly. Zoe didn't say anything for a little.

"Dammit. One car ride home, and he's taken you away from me." I was shocked.

"Zoe! Just cause he gave me a ride home does not mean he's taking me away from you. Oh my Z. Don't be jealous of your brother." I said.

"Well it's true. He already took you away from shopping. Ugh." I chuckled.

"Zoe this is my 2nd day back, you can go shopping with me all you want later on." I reassured.

"Okay. But we need to go shopping okay?"

"Okay Z. I've got to get ready. Joe's gonna be here soon." It was 10:00 already.

"Oh okay. Bye love."

"Bye Z." I hung the phone up, and went to pick out an outfit.

The weather was a bit chilly today, so I decided on a sweater that is white and mint colored. I paired it with black jeans, and light brown oxfords. I then put my glasses being lazy to put on my contacts, and a same colored scarf as my oxfords. I then put my long hair in a simple braid, and felt I was done. I applied my makeup, and looked to see the time was 10:25. Seeing I had 5 more minutes, I packed my small brown satchel with my necessities. A knock was heard from my door, and I looked at my mirror. Satisfied with what I saw, I went and opened the door to see a smiling Joe.

"Ella."

"Joe." I replied with a smile. I closed my door, and went to the elevator to his car. He opened the door for me, and I climbed in. He then jogged over and went to the driver's side.

"You look wonderful today Ella." He said as he started driving. I blushed.

"Wow. Someones being extra nice today." I said.

"What. Can't I just be nice to my good childhood friend?" He asked. I laughed.

"Okay. Whatever you say." We kept driving until we came by a cute cafe. Joe parked, and we went inside. Coffee and cinnamon filled the room. It was very warm, and cozy.

"Hi may I help you." A lady behind the counter asked.

"Ah yes. Table for two." He replied.

"Alright right this way." We followed the lady until we came to a table near the window. He pulled the chair open for me, and I gave a quick "thank you".

"Your server will be with you shortly." The lady smiled before returning to her counter.

"'I've got to say Joe. This cafe is so cute." I looked around. It had a vintage and hipster vibe to it. It had hanging lights, and everything seemed wooden. The frames around the walls were also pictures and albums of old famous pictures and vinyls.

"I know. It's one of my favorites. Plus, the food is amazing." He replied.

Soon a girl looking about 19 came to our table.

"Hello I will be you- oh my gosh you're Joe Sugg." She stopped herself looking at Joe. Joe laughed it off, and replied.

"Yes I am. I reckon you're a fan?" The girl nods quickly.

"Can you sign my wrist. I promise after I'll take your order and leave you alone." Joe chuckled and signed her wrist.

"Okay now can take your order." She said with a huge smile. We both ordered, and she left. I smiled at Joe.

"So I see you are very famous."

"Well I do run into fans every now and then." He replied.

"You're so sweet to them. Some well known celebrities would shoo them off, but you welcome them." I looked at him, and he was smiling.

"They got me where I am today. Without them, I wouldn't have the happiness I have today."I smiled.

"Okay enough about me, what about you?" We kept talking until our food came. Once I had a taste of all the food, I couldn't believe my tongue. Everything was so good. We kept talking after that. Once we were out of the restaurant, and Joe payed for everything even though I insisted, Joe took out a small camera.

"Hey guys. So I just had breakfast with one of my old childhood friends. Her name is Ella. Say hi Ella!" He pointed the camera, and I smiled and waved.

"Hi Joe's subscribers!" He then laughed and turned the camera back to him.

"We are now going to explore the parts of London we can. Ella hasn't been here for like," he started counting on his fingers. " 6 years! We are definitely showing her everything. Well I'll see you guys in a bit." He then put his camera down, and I gave him a questioning look.

"We're seeing all the parts of London we can?" I asked. I did not know we were doing that.

"Well yeah. 6 years Ella! You don't know what you've been missing. Plus, I'm an excellent tour guide." He smirked. I laughed.

"Alright alright. I heard there's a 1D world here. Is that true?" I asked. I couldn't help it. My inner fangirl was coming out.

"Oh yeah."

"Are we going there?" I asked.

"Hell yes we are."
