"Bitch where were you last night?" Marshell whisper yelled as the girls made their way to the dining hall for lunch time. "I was texting you and all that shit. And then when I came back to the dorm, you wasn't there."

"I was out when you was out. I thought I told you that." Serenity replied. "Or was you too nervous to look at the phone?"

"Nigga this ain't about me," Marshell mumbled, "you was out wit that boy, wasn't you?"

Serenity flushed as the memory of hanging out with Namil for a short time flooded back into her mind. And the way he looked at her. She never experienced something like that before.

"I wasn't "out" wit him. I went to get something to eat last night and he just so happened to be there." She finally said.

"Weird coincidence." Marshell said.

When they made it to the dining hall, the girls would get their food and find a table to sit at. The second they sat down, both Namil and Wes would sit across from them, not knowing they were all at the same table.

"Man, what the hell," Namil said sitting down at the table, "I'm starting to think the universe just wants us to be around each other,"

"What do you know about that?" Wes queried. "You can't even do calculus."

"You the same nigga that told me to cheat on it. So get off me and quit tryna show off," Namil furrowed his eyebrows. His expression softened once he looked at Serenity.

"Whatever," Wes rolled his eyes.

"Do ya niggas always fight like this? I mean, shit. Everyday it's something," Serenity spoke up as she poked at her food. It was chicken alfredo. But something about the sauce made it taste off.

"He's just weird," Namil said.

"And this nigga is a lazy asshole." Wes added.

"Yeah he looks like it," Serenity joked, looking directly at Namil as she said such thing. The male would wrap the string of his hoodie around his finger, blushing a little.

"I ain't lazy. I'm just tired. You wouldn't know tired until you stay up late recording and doing homework at the same time, hermosa," He smirked at her.

"You gone eat that?" Wes whispered, pointing to the plate of alfredo. Like a child, Namil moved his plate over and squinted at Wes.

"Yes, I'm eating this. Fucking greedy monkey."

"I feel like that was racially motivated. Especially coming from a hybrid." Wes sighed then looked at Serenity, "don't let the hybrid be mean to you."

"Quit calling me that, mono sucio." Namil rolled his eyes. Marshell and Serenity looked at each other then back at the boys, who were now bickering again.

While they did that, the girls had been texting each other back and forth.
