I wake up with the sun the light beaming in causing me to stir.
What the?
The sound of the city outside the tower was long gone. The only sound comes out in a small dance of air as nearby birds chirp outside with the promise of an ocean nearby making me sit up a little to look out the open window to the cloudless sky making me smile.
I am happy here.
Right?
But where am I?
I try to stretch but instantly two pairs of arms wrap around me clinging to me.
"Don't wake yet Iz stay longer" Steve pleads as I blink my eyes tiredly "what time is it?" I ask something feeling wrong with Steve in front of me but I ignore it.
He was one of my boyfriends.
What is wrong with that?
"Late morning we just got back from a jog" Bucky whispers in my ear causing me to squirm but both grip me tighter keeping me safe between them.
'This isn't the tower' I think trying to recall what I last remembered.
Are we at a safe house?
Did I hit my head on a mission and lose part of my memory?
"You're both damp" I complain in a whine feeling it more now I am awake.
It's okay.
It doesn't matter where I am.
I am with the two people who love me the most.
I am safe.
"We showered together" Steve explains both he and Bucky chuckle at my morning attitude as always making me pout "but we missed you"
Where are we? I wanted to ask yet the words refuse to leave my mouth making me frown as the words swallow down my throat heavily before clinging to my chest.
"We couldn't stop wishing you were showering with us" Bucky practically purrs into my ear yet it doesn't give the same effect it normally does.
Why is everything off?
"I love you doll" Bucky's voice brings me out of my thoughts and I force myself to smile.
It's Steve and Bucky' I tell myself.
3 years together and I'm questioning them?
Yet something picked at me.
"How do you look this beautiful every morning?" Steve flirts his flirting getting better as time went on in the relationship and yet-
Everything in me screamed I didn't want this with them.
That someone else was meant to be here.
But who else would I be here with?
Bucky's touch finally sends warmth through my skin as he kisses down my shoulder making me smile in the familiarity.
