I walk into Davis's Enterprises seeing everyone smile greeting me friendly as I say hello.

News of me being Xiaver's finance has spread fast but Xiaver had already introduced me to his business as his girlfriend and partner a week ago.

The world has yet to find out my share in the company but for now, that can wait.

Over the last couple of weeks, I have worked with Xiaver going over mistakes his team missed and we have managed to raise profits.

As he said to Tony yesterday his business has now gone up by 50%. The raising of the price of the company in the market has other marketing companies reaching out to buy it but I knew better.

Working with Tony and Pepper taught me a lot about the business world.

But thanks to Pepper I learned early on that it's a man's world or at least that's what they believed it to be.

Pepper was only Tony's assistant at the time but she ran the strings behind most of the deals in the company. I watched her closely able to shift Tony's mind without the genius even realizing it half the time or maybe he was too blind in his trust in her.

Love really does make people blind but businessmen will always underestimate a woman's role.

As Pepper once said 'It can be their downfall if you play your cards right Izzy just never let them expect you coming'

I make my way to the top floor where Xavier's office sat my own being built across the hall since I was to be here a while longer.

"Miss-" Xaiver's security guard who I learned name is Johnson eyes widen seeing me.

His body shifts giving away he is anxious as he tries to stop me going to Xavier's office but it only makes me more curious.

I consider him as my heels click against the floor as I reach for Xiaver's office his body steps forward to block me but stops afraid and I hold back a laugh when I see why.

Xiaver sat back on his office chair head tilted back in pleasure. His closed eyes open at the door opening his eyes narrowing at my appearance so I hold up the bag of food sweetly.

"Sorry sir I did try to stop her-" Johnson says but Xavier waves him off as I walk over to the desk placing a plastic white bag down.

"Please don't let me stop you" I wave for them to continue taking a seat opposite him before putting my feet up on his desk making the woman jump at the noise.

"It's okay Mrs. Ashely" Xiaver reassures her both of us noticing her tensing as he moves back showing her under the desk.

She looks back her body shaking as she stands Xiaver helps her stand but she looks back at me nervous about him steadying her.

I didn't blame her for her nerves to her knowledge, he was mine, and I his.

Part of the contract was only Wade, Xiaver, Jack, Johnson, and our lawyers knew the truth.

"Hi" I smirk coldly liking the unease in her eyes. She watches me carefully as if I would pounce any second.

I didn't care who he slept with but the disrespect was there all the same.

I met her last week as his girlfriend and she smiled in my face while she shook my hand.

"You could have knocked" Xiaver growls as his receptionist runs out of the room glancing a frightened glance at me but I don't reply till the door shuts.
