"Shit you gave me a heart attack" I grumble feeling it was him before I see him as he squeezes me into him "I thought they got here first" he admits in relief before breathing me in.

My back rests against his chest as he rests his forehead on my shoulder him needing a second making me look back only to gasp.

"Wade!" I worry as I turn in his hold his arms still wrapped around me as my front meets his.

"What happened?" I ask seeing him hurt his neck decorated with a large gash a slit across it as if someone tried decapitating him "We need to go" he says looking breathless despite that feat itself seeming almost impossible.

"Wade" I whisper when I see something in the side of his throat the bleeding not healing as I look at what looks like a massive black bullet with a red 'M' laying at the heel.

"What is that?" I ask holding his face in worry but he shakes his head fear in his eyes making my stomach drop.

What did they do to him?

"Why aren't you healing?" I ask but his hold squeezes me his eyes begging me to stop before his hands move to my shoulders.

I have never seen him so spooked.

"Bunny listen that doesn't matter right now. Right now we need to get you out of here. The soldiers went missing okay? They stopped pursuing me but they set up a trap knowing to hunt me in that direction meaning they knew it was me all along-"

"We did" Steve's voice makes both of us tense up it being followed by a heartbreaking groan as we both turn.

"Xavier" I say stepping forward but Wade holds me back as Steve's gun presses tightly against Xavier's head forcing it to tilt awkwardly to the side as Bucky stands behind him almost looking apologetic making me sneer.

"I should have just fucking shot you" I spit going for him making him flinch but Wade's other arm pulls me back both now wrapping around me and squeezing in warning which only makes both of the soldiers' eyes flash.

"So it is you" Steve almost growls at him "you know when Jack told us everything I didn't believe it-"

"Jack?" I spit making Steve hum his eyes finally meeting my own "It seems that you have been busy dollface Jack told us about your 'big' plan"

"No-" Xavier denies the look of betrayal clear in his eyes at his little brother selling him out but I grit my jaw "So you know everything then. What's the point of this? You can't seriously think I will come back right?" I ask tilting my head mockingly watching as the action causes Steve's jaw to tighten.

It was something we mimicked Wanda for.

She was always the sweetest on the team but when angry she became the scariest out of all of us. She would always tilt her head tauntingly before she would attack those who misperceived her as prey.

It was interesting to watch a rabbit change itself to a werewolf mid-attack.

Anyone who ever judged her fighting skill based on her appearance now reaps their way through the River Styx in the afterlife.

She was the one who taught me it's okay to seem smaller than you are.

It helps deceive fools on the battlefield.

I watch closely as Steve looks back to Bucky before nodding his head towards me but when Bucky steps forward Wade moves quickly lifting a gun towards Steve. Bucky shadows his movement holding his own gun up towards us his aim on Wade.
