Aurora slowly opens her eyes, feeling a bit disoriented. She sits up in bed, looking around the cave, curious about her surroundings.
Aurora stretches as she gets out of bed, exploring the room and peering into every corner. She heads down the hallway, calling out David's name, but there's no answer.Aurora walks into the main area of the cave and spots David's wheelchair. She sits down on it and notices an old leather book nearby. Curiosity piqued, she picks it up.
As Aurora reads the book, she realizes it's filled with strange tales of vampires and blood rituals. Feeling a bit unsettled, she hears footsteps approaching. She looks over and sees Dwayne walking into the room.
Dwayne wakes up and swiftly descends the elevator shaft, making his way down the hallway and stairs. As he reached the main area, he spots Aurora sitting in David's wheelchair. Their eyes meet, and Aurora greets him with a smile, saying, "Goodnight."
Dwayne smiled back at Aurora, but his expression changes when he noticed the old leather book next to her. He asks if she touched it, and Aurora looks at him and lies, saying she didn't. Dwayne exhales in relief and walks over to the book, picking it up and placing it on the black bookshelf.
As the boys, Paul and Marko, enter the main area, they greet Aurora with smiles. Meanwhile, Dwayne walks over to David and together they head back into the hallway.
Dwayne strides into hallway, but suddenly stops and turn around, wearing an unhappy expression. David looks perplexed, trying to figure out what's going on.
Dwayne confronts David, asking why he left the book out. David looks bewildered, unsure of what Dwayne is referring to. Dwayne's frustration escalates as he yells, "Why did you leave the god damn book out!"
David forcefully shoves Dwayne against the wall, demanding that he be quite. In a fit of anger, Dwayne retaliates by pushing David back and demanding to know why he had the book out, thinking David was done with Max.
Dwayne growls in frustration as David remains silent, looking away. Feeling defeated, Dwayne storms off into the back room. Meanwhile David walks away into the main area of the cave.
Aurora sits in the wheelchair, with Paul standing by her side. Meanwhile Marko sits on the couch, drawing a picture of Paul and Aurora together.
As they heard yelling, Marko glanced up at the hallway, while Paul appeared annoyed and Aurora looked concerned. Paul reassured Aurora that it was okay, as Dwayne and David sometimes get into arguments. David enters the main area, and Aurora gets out of the wheelchair. David nods at Aurora and sits in his chair, lighting a cigarette. Meanwhile Aurora walks into the hallway and enters the room where she woke up.
As Aurora entered the room, she noticed Dwayne perched on the edge of the bed. At first, Dwayne paid no mind to the footsteps echoing down the hall. However, as Aurora stepped into the doorway, Dwayne's gaze lifted, and he locked eyes with her.
Aurora concerned about Dwayne, asked what had happened and if he was okay. Dwayne reassured her, saying it was nothing to worry about. He explained that he and David didn't see eye to eye at times. The tension between them was evident, but Dwayne tried to downplay the situation. Aurora couldn't help but wonder what had transpired between the two of them.
Paul and Marko exchanged glances, their curiosity piqued. Marko couldn't help but ask David what was happening and why Dwayne seemed so angry. David with a dismissive tone, simply stated that Dwayne was in one of his moods and there was nothing worth mentioning. Paul rolled his eyes in frustration, while Marko scoffed but decided to keep moment. The tension in the room was palpable, leaving Paul and Marko eager to uncover the truth behind Dwayne's anger.
As Aurora took a seat next to Dwayne, she couldn't help but smiled warmly at him. In a tender gesture, Dwayne placed his hand gently on Aurora knee, creating a moment of connection and affection between them. The room seemed to glow with their unspoken bond, as they shared a quiet moment together.
Aurora leaned in and suggested that reading might help Dwayne calm down. Dwayne nodded in agreement, appreciating the idea. Aurora got up and walked over to the nearby table, scanning the books that were resting there. After considering her options, she picked up "Moths and Butterflies" and returned to Dwayne, handing him the book with a gentle smile.
Dwayne settled against the soft pillows, creating a comfortable space for himself. Meanwhile, Aurora positioned herself in between his legs, finding a cozy spot to relax. With the book in his hands, Dwayne began to read aloud, his voice carrying the words with a gentle cadence. Aurora listened intently, captivated by the story unfolding before her. The room was filled with a sense of tranquility as they immersed themselves in the magical world of the book, cherishing this intimate moment together.
