I positioned myself a little bit away from mansi as I started sprinkling water on her face.

"What are you doing roshni?" I heard the voice of luna. I looked at her and motioned for her to stay quiet.

"I can't risk getting myself some kicks from her. You know how aggressive she is." I whispered to luna.

"Well...go on." Luna said giggling.

We had been sharing dorms with luna since 3rd year and she seemed to be a good friend to the both of us.

"Stop it roshni" She yawned as she turned to her side sleeping.

"But you need to wake up, today we are going to receive our schedules. Wake up na manu!" I said shaking her.

"Ugh...just five minutes more." She said to me, bringing her palm on my face.

"okay...fine." I said.

I grabbed a chair and sat.

Should he be okay?

Shall I visit him once?

But why should I? I have done enough by taking him to the hospital wing. He must be okay by now.

I was pulled back from my thoughts by a loud yawn, astonished I turned to look and saw mansi stretching her arms and legs as she got up from the bed and went to the bathroom.

It was early morning and I was already in my uniform. There wouldn't be any students, would there be? I don't think so. A perfect time to visit the hospital wing.

I went downstairs in the ravenclaw commonroom, there weren't much students almost like none. Most of them must have been sleeping. I took the opportunity and slipped out of the common room.

I entered the hospital wing. As I entered, there were no traces of him. The place, the bed where I had left him last night was empty. As I was searching for him, Madam Pomfrey approached me.

"Do you need anything dear? What are you doing here so early?" She asked me.

"Umm...ma'am actually I was trying to find the boy from last night...do you know where he is?" I asked her.

"Ohh he went yesterday night. I told him to stay but he insisted on going back to his dorm, so I had no other choice but to let him go." She said looking at me.

"Ohh okay." I said.

"But I must say, you did a right thing dear." She said smiling at me.

"Thank you ma'am." I said smiling at her and after that I exited the hospital wing.

After a few minutes of walking, I reached the ravenclaw tower.

"What gets wetter the more it dries?" The bronze eagle asked me.

After thinking for a whole minute I answered,

"A towel?"

And the gate opened and I entered the common room. By now, the common room was filled up with students. I went upstairs to the girls' dorm.

I entered our room.

"Mansi?" I asked as I opened the door.

"Yes?" A voice came and I saw her styling her hair infront of the mirror.

"Oh look, you finally woke up." I said rolling my eyes at her.

"Where were you?" Mansi asked me.

"Ohh nothing, just visited the hospital wing." I said arranging my bag.

"But why?" She asked.

"I'll tell you later...for now let's head for our breakfast." I said.

We both went downstairs and exited the ravenclaw common room.

"So...why did Professor McGonagall call you yesterday?" She asked me.

"Actually she wanted me to be one of assistants." I said.

"Assistants? Assistant for what?" Mansi asked me.

"Calm down woman. I'll explain everything." I said getting annoyed.

After walking for a few minutes we reached the great hall.

As usual, we took our seats at the ravenclaw table. Students were already swarmed up in the great hall.

"Do you know that someone took malfoy to the hospital wing after he was injured?"

"No, I don't. That's a rather rare thing. He is despised by most of the students. Why would someone help him?"

I heard some whispers. Who the heck had seen me yesterday helping him?

"Pretty weird, isn't it?" Mansi said as she grabbed an apple from the bowls.

"What?" I asked looking at her.

"Someone helping malfoy." She said as if it was the most simplest thing.

"Why though?" I asked her.

"He was a death eater. He worked for voldemort. What else would be the reason for people to despise him?" Mansi said looking at me.

"I know he was a death eater but this year all of us came to do a new start, didn't we? What's with the problem in forgetting all those?" I stated.

"Well you are certainly right but most of the students won't be able to forget and you know that." She said to me.

"But I still find it weird. Who would help him?" Mansi said.

That's the same question I was asking myself when he asked me yesterday night.

Why did I help him?

Well...I still don't know.
