Over the span of two months, you and Konig had grown remarkably close, and it was becoming increasingly challenging to ignore the deep feelings that had developed between you. Konig had been your rock after Ghost's infidelity.

Konig's care and affection went beyond simple gestures; he consistently showed that he valued your presence. He would surprise you with little things, listen to your concerns, and ensure you were comfortable in every situation. On missions, he was your silent protector, keeping a watchful eye over you and ensuring your well-being at all times.

While the two of you were watching a movie in the rec room, you couldn't help but notice Konig's restlessness. His leg bounced up and down sporadically, a clear sign that something was on his mind. Without hesitation, you placed your hand on his knee, effectively stilling his leg's movement.

"Is something wrong?" looking up at him as you sat beside him. Konig took a deep breath, collecting his thoughts before he spoke.

"Would you like to go to dinner tomorrow night?" His question caught you by surprise, but a genuine smile quickly spread across your face.

"Of course! I would love to go to dinner with you," you replied, your warmth and enthusiasm evident. His eyes widened slightly at your response.

"Really?" he asked, seeking reassurance.

"Yeah, does 8 work?"

"Yeah, that works for me," Konig replied, finally releasing the breath he hadn't realized he'd been holding.

"Okay, cool. It's a date then," you said, flashing him a smile before turning your attention back to the TV. As you focused on the movie, Konig couldn't help but keep his eyes on you, frozen in place by your words.

Every glance at your features made his heart do somersaults, and the depth of his feelings for you was becoming undeniable. At that moment, he couldn't imagine someone more perfect than you.

You had just finished getting ready for your date with Konig, putting extra care into your appearance.

You heard a knock on your door. When you opened it, you were greeted by the sight of Konig holding a bouquet of flowers. Your eyes widened in surprise, and you eagerly accepted the fragrant gift.

You thanked him with a warm smile and pulled him into a hug, feeling his strong arms envelop you. Konig's breath caught in his throat as he felt your embrace, his heart racing. Every time he was near you, you had this inexplicable power to make his heart race.

After placing the flowers on the table, you took Konig's hand and walked out of your room and out of the base together. He led you to a motorcycle parked in the lot, and you couldn't help but be slightly surprised. You hadn't pegged him for the type to own a motorcycle.

"Ever rode on a motorcycle before?" he asked. You shook your head.

"Put this on." He handed you his helmet, and his leather jacket, inhaling the faint scent of his cologne that lingered.

"What about you?"

"I only have one, but he'll be okay."

Concerned for his well-being, you tried to take off the helmet, stating that he should have it. But he stopped you, his eyes filled with a protective worry.

"I would never forgive myself if something happened to you, please keep it on." You hesitated but caved in.

Konig swung his leg over the bike and turned to pat the seat behind him. You followed suit, throwing your leg over and finding yourself pressed flush against his back. He gently guided your hands, placing them around his chest.
