!Note: When it comes to characters I don't really pay attention to, I'm not very good at making the character like themselves, and April is almost the embodiment of that, and I apologize. If anything is inaccurate, let me know.
(2nd person POV)
A few months passed, and you and April became friends due to you having small bonding times at school (to Casey's dismay),and you even became friends with Casey -or maybe not friends, more like acquaintances- but it took a little effort for you to get comfortable with each other.
You even got their numbers!
You decide to text April. Asking her if you can come over. She said yes!
After your chat with April, you got ready to visit her house for the first time, and let me tell you, you were ecstatic. You packed your bags, tell your parents where you're heading, and you say goodbye to them as they do to you as well. You're 17, so your parents trust you enough to go on tour own.
You get in your car and drive to her house, which is just a bit further away from your parent's house. When you get there, you get out your car and knock on the door.
(April's POV)
"Is that her?!" I slightly yell, pure bliss in my voice. I rush to the door and open it to see none other than (Y/N)!
"You're here!" I run up to her and squeeze her in a tight hug. "OK! OK! Don't break all my bones!" "Sorry. I'm just excited!" I respond. "I am too," she responds.
I lead (Y/N) to my room and turn on the TV. "I like your room," she says. " Thanks." We play games, talk, the usual. Then, I get a bit tired. "I'm going to bed, ok? If you need anything, you can wake me up."I think I'll be fine. Goodnight!"
"Night."
(3rd person POV)
You were up all by yourself. April was asleep, and you think her dad was too. The feeling of free will engulfed you, so what do you do about it? You open the window and look out of it to look at Manhattan once more.
And to see if you could find those 4 people again. I mean, how could you not?
Before you could stick your head out the window, you hear something on the roof. Is it them? You try your best to get out the window quietly and onto the roof.
After a good minute or two, you got it, though you feel like the 4 are already gone. You look ahead of you and barely see 4 figures of what seemed to be them, yet their going in different directions. So, out of your wild sense, you chase after the two on the left. It's really hard to keep up with them. How do they do it? Then you remember, just run to the nearest sewer, then you'll be done.
You look down and see manhole cover and jump on a shorter building so it wouldn't be as hard to get down to the ground. You waited for the group to come to where you were so you could look at them, face-to-face.
You waited a bit more, and it had been a while now that you thought about it. What's taking so long? Something breaks the silence. Grunting, metal clashing against metal, screeching, and maybe someone getting pushed onto the roof's tiles.
Curiosity gets the best of you, so you go and check it out, climbing onto the roof of the shorter building. You run to the destination, and the sound volume increases. You see a bunch of small robots going in 1 direction, so as expected, you follow. You see them going after silhouettes that look humanoid, but also... not? Not sure how to describe it.
Then, they saw you.
Welp, you're screwed.
