I wake up to my alarm going off, it reads 7:30 am. Ugh why did John have to set it so early. I turn it off and lay there for a second debating my life choices. I finally get up and get ready for church.
I put on a blue dress with a brown belt and wear black flats. I go to the bathroom, do my hair and brush my teeth.
"Wow you got up on time" John says walking past the bathroom.
"Yeah because you set that annoying alarm" I say walking out of the bathroom.
John just giggles and walks downstairs. I go back to my room and grab my phone. I walk downstairs and John starts cooking breakfast. Garrett is no were to be seen I'm assuming he's feeding the animals.
John puts breakfast on 3 plates and takes them to the table. We are having French toast this morning with orange juice...well I'm having orange juice John and garret drink coffee.
I sit down at the table and start eating my breakfast.
Garrett comes in the house and washes his hands then sits down by me at the table.
"I'm glad you got up on time" he said as he took a sip of his coffee.
"Yeah the only reason I did is because John put an annoying ass alarm in my room" I say as I take a bite of my French toast.
"Hey watch your language" John warns.
"Yes sir" I say
By the time we finish up our breakfast it's time to leave. We put our plates in the sink and go to the truck. I get in the backseat, John gets in the passenger seat and Garrett is driving.
"When we're at church please be respectful" John says buckling his seat belt.
"Okay" I say playing on my phone.
We pull up to the church, John gets out and Garrett does too.
We all walk into the church and people are greeting us. John and Garrett know a lot of people.
"Oh my goodness this must be Katie?" A old lady asks
"Yes ma'am, this is our little sister Katie" Garrett reply's.
"I'm Mrs.Daisy it is nice to meet you sweetheart" I just smile "You sure are beautiful and you are lucky to have Garrett and John as your brothers" she said as she smiles giving me a wink.
Garrett and John are shaking peoples hands and introducing me as I'm just following in the middle of them not knowing what to do. We finally take out seats and I'm sitting between John and Garrett.
Church goes by and we leave after services.
We head home and stop at a gas station to fill the truck up with diesel. We leave the gas station and pull up to the Winchester ranch finally getting home. I get out and go sit in the living room.
Garrett goes upstairs
"Katie come here now!" Garret yells down the stairs.
I get up and walk up the stairs seeing what he is calling me for.
"What did I tell you about not making your bed and cleaning up your room?" He asks me. With his arms crossed raising his eyebrow.
Shit. I felt goosebumps on my arms. I didn't make my bed and pick up my room before we left.
"I'm sorry I will do it right away" I say walking into my room and I start making my bed.
"Consider this your warning" Garrett says giving me a stern look still raising his eyebrow.
"Yes sir" I say as I make my bed.
I finish cleaning up my room, change my clothes and walk downstairs. Garrett and John are no where to be seen. I around the house to find them but have no luck. I walk outside to the barn and Garrett is saddling a buckskin gelding. John is also saddling a bay mare.
