Author's note

I feel like scara would be that one kid who picks up hobbies just to impress someone or does it to be unique from the rest of his classmates cus he craves validation and attention (he cringes at this every day he gets older)

"Lumine...Lumine..."

I paced around the room while calling Lumine, I just woke up 4 minutes ago and widened my eyes to see 12 missed calls from one person, Lumine.

Pick up the damn phone...

After 2 calls, he finally answered, "Sorry, man."

"Can you explain?"

"You're Childe from another world."

"What?"

"Yeah."

"No like, what do you mean?" I asked her with slight anger, it was confusing. Was she playing a prank on me?

"Childe, you're from another world."

"What?" It was getting more confusing, and I could hear Lumine sigh.

"Some changes have happened, the Childe in this world has been replaced with you when you were very young. That's probably the reason you didn't know about Scaramouche and Mei, since you aren't the real Childe in this world."

Another world? So then..."How do I remember you and Aether, then? I had memories of you in kindergarten."

"'We're not from this world, so the other Childe and you shared memories of us."

Well, that makes no sense. I never met Signora and the others until high school, so it makes sense that I know them.

"Just be chill, and don't tell anyone. Especially Scaramouche."

"Got it, bye." I ended the call without waiting for a reply and threw myself on the bed. It wasn't like a disaster was happening, but it was still unreal!

How is the other me doing?

"Kazu." I call out to my best friend.

He raised his head from his flute and looked at me with calm eyes, "Hm?"

I sat down next to him and stared at his instrument, "How long are you staying here again?"

"About 3 months, would you like to visit Inazuma once I go back? Mom has been missing you."

"Both of them? heh, guess I'm that nice."

He smiled softly before patting my head, "Indeed you are, Kuni."

"Ugh, stop with that name."

Kazuha chuckled before continuing to play the flute while I watch closely. He plays it well, I thought. Kazuha has always been so fond of nature, yet still very familiar with modern technology. Weather was kind of nice, and the spot under the tree wasn't that covered in the snow.
