Archer
Beep Beep Beep. "I'm sorry, Mr. Reed. Please try again." Beep Beep Beep. "Again?" Beep Beep Beep. "One last time?" Beep Beep Beep. "Maybe it just doesn't like your card?" I'd groan. This card has to have money on it...It normally always does... "Excuse me..." Ms. Angela started, I'd look over at the whale. She'd take my card, wipe it on my sweater, and set it in the machine, the transaction going through. "You had lint on it." I'd nod, "Course you'd see it, whale. You notice every small amount just to see if you could eat it." She'd sigh moving us away from the counter, "Uh-Huh...Jammie is tied up at the bar, he won't be near you." I'd sigh in relief. "All he's good for is his money in the company..." she'd nod. "Along with his durability and flexibility..." I'd shiver. "Stop talking." She'd sigh, looking out the window of the hospital. "Are you going to kill this one too..?" She'd question. I'd look over. "What?" She'd sigh, "Jay." I'd shrug. "Maybe...I'm still thinking about it. " Ms. Angela pulled out a binder from her bag. She flipped until she found a file on Jay. She had files on everyone in this state. "Money is out of the question, popularity is out, you have nothing to gain from this subject." I'd sigh, "Give me more information..." She'd stare at me, "Archer, there is nothing..." I'd groan, "Relationship status?" She'd stare at me, "Why?" I'd sigh, "I want to know if a boyfriend will come around and beat my ass." She'd sigh, "Single. I'm telling you that you are wasting your time and Jay's." I'd sigh, "Look, I have an idea, now buzz off my things. What about you and Milo?" She'd look over, "What about him?" I'd chuckle, "You like him, don't you?" She'd nod, "He's a nice addition to our team." He'd groan, "You are both like a broken record...Giving me the same answers over and over again." She'd sigh, "What do you expect me to say? Besides, why would I tell you to begin with?" I'd shrug, "It's nice to talk to me?" She'd chuckle, "Maybe when you're wasted...You'd actually sympathize with things." I'd look up, "Where's Milo anyway..." She'd look at her watch, "Still upstairs..." I'd groan, "Stay here, whale. I'm going to check on him. Try not to eat anyone." I'd storm off, going up the stairs. I'd see Milo and Jay imminently. He was tapping his foot the moment he saw me. Morris code... I barley understand it to begin with. "She's asking about your job and your plans with her..." I'd walk over, "Hey you two, our rides are ready." Jay would look at me, "You." I'd blink, "Me." She'd groan, "You have explaining to do." I'd chuckle, "I'm already taking you to eat, you'd think you'd be more grateful." She'd groan, "Archer. I need to know why you're even staying with me." I'd sigh, "Do you want food or not?" She'd sigh retreating down the stairs only for Lacey to wrap her in a hug. Milo would look at me, "Archer...I'm sorry, but I can not keep covering for you like this. I have to tell her-" I'd grab their collar, "You are not going to tell her a single word, do you understand me?" He'd put his hands on my arm, trying to push me away. "I'm sorry...I'm so sorry...I won't say anything..." I'd let him go, groaning. "Good." He'd whine, holding around his neck. I'd walk downstairs seeing Lacey and Jay. Jay would groan, holding Lacey back. "Stop attacking me out of nowhere." I'd sigh, looking around, "When are we going to this damn restaurant?" Jay would look over, "Whenever you get us in the car?" I'd sigh, walking outside to the car. The others would follow along like ducks. We'd get in the car, Lacey hugging Jay, Milo driving and Ms. Angela in the passenger seat. I was sitting next to Jay. "Could you...not man spread?" Jay asked. I'd look over, "I'm not?" She'd stare at my leg. "Your leg is literally touching mine." I'd stare, "You baby. Can't handle a simple leg touching you? You're going to hate the real world." "Weird...I would have thought since I walked into Archer on top of you that you would want to be close to him." Lacey would question. "Now is not the time for that, Lacey." Jay begged. I'd look over letting out a soft chuckle. "Wow...You really don't want your friends to know about the sweet nights we have together?" She'd look at me dead in the face. "Archer, I mean it." I'd chuckle, picking her up and setting her in my lap. "What's wrong, Jay?" She'd look at me, dead in my eyes, before She bit down on my arm. I'd chuckle, leaning back. "You aren't doing anything but filling my amusement, Jay." I'd chuckle, leaning in next to their ear. "Besides...I enjoy pain." I'd whisper, seeing her shiver. I'd smile, sitting back in my chair. Lacey would whine next to us, "You guys are so cuteeee....My boyfriend doesn't even live in the same state as me." She'd pout. I'd narrow my eyes looking over, "How do you guys talk?" "Online." I'd chuckle, "You know...online is a scary place to go and date people...What if he was a murderer?" She'd giggle, "You and your horror houseeeee...There is no way! I would know!" I'd laugh, "Do you think he'd tell you? Murders don't reveal themselves, silly." Lacey would shrug, "He might tell me!" I'd smile, looking at Jay. "Well, I appreciate the compliment." I'd rub Jay's shoulder, feeling her tense up. We shortly arrived at the restaurant, Lacey's eyes lighting up. "Food!"
