Milo

I'd chuckle, shaking my head. "Uh...I would appreciate it if we didn't go somewhere where a restaurant objectifies women." Ms. Angela would chuckle, "Well, I've heard they have good food, Milo." Archer would smirk, "Course you would know, whale." I'd watch another shoe get thrown at Archer's noggin. He looked back at Jay, angry. "Quit fucking doing that!" He looked like he was about to pounce. I'd sigh, shaking my head. "Archer, you know better than to call Ms. Angela a quote un-quote 'whale.' She is a wonderful asset to our team, and I wish that you treated her kinder." Archer would stare at me. "God damn, Milo. It's only been five years since you were married, trying to hop on that whale so fast?" I'd turn my head to look at him. My eyes narrowed. "Do not bring that up." I'd growl. I would feel Ms. Angela's hand rub my back, "Archer, there is no reason for you to be stooping that low to get back at Milo." I'd feel my bare wedding finger, sighing. "It's quite alright, Ms. Angela...I just wish Archer would stop harshly mentioning you." She'd remove her hand from my back. The sudden warmth was gone. "Trust me, Milo. You get used to it." I sigh, looking over at Archer's 'lover'. Her friend was trying to get them out of bed. "Are you sure you want to go to a place so... degrading?" Jay's friend would butt in. "They have nice food and nice views! We should go!" I would sigh, knowing the choice had been set in stone. Archer would lean down a bit, I'd look up at him. "Jammie won't be near us...right?" I'd shrug, "I have no idea, Archer." I'd look at Ms. Angela, "Please call the car to come around for us, Ms. Angela." She would nod, get on her phone, and exit the room. Archer would sigh, "You're supposed to make sure that privileged ass hole is far away from me." I'd narrow my eyes looking at him. "You're the older one here, Archer...You should be able to take care of yourself." He'd roll his eyes, "I have a nice thing going here, and I would appreciate it if he didn't screw it up for me." I'd narrow my eyes, staring at him. "What are you implying here?" He'd chuckle, "Isn't it obvious?" I'd shrug, "You're taking advantage of a person's kindness once again?" He'd blink, "She aren't the kindest muffin in the batch, but hell, she'll do." I'd sigh, "I think you need to just stay away from everyone in the world...You always end up degrading them, regardless of their social or physical class. You really should appreciate people, she won a battle many lost just by being born, and-" Archer would pretend to snore. "You lost me at 'I think'. I swear, every time you tell me how important life is my brain dies. If you want to be a free-loading hippy, then I suggest you go back forty years ago." I'd sigh, "Says the one in crippling debt to the company, having to be capo just to try and repay your-" The short friend of Jay came over. "What about capos?" I'd smile, "Nothing, darling." I'd clap my hands together, "Well! We said we were going to a restaurant, weren't we?" I'd take out a card from my wallet, holding it out for Archer. "Go pay the hospital bill." I ordered. He'd growl, "Aren't I your boss?" I'd nod, "You may be, but I'm more responsible, therefore, the boss put me in charge." Archer would groan, leaving the room. I'd smile, turning to the two. "I believe the ride provided will be to your liking, shall we go?" The friend would smile, nodding. "Sure!" She'd take the hand of Jay, going out of the hospital room. "Did Raven go to pay the bill?" She'd tilt her head, looking at me. I'd chuckle softly, feeling a chill go down my spine. Archer had told me about his ex-wife, Raven was a nickname she gave him. Just hearing her say the name probably gave Archer harsh flashbacks. I'd chuckle, "He did. May I ask...Where did you hear that name, Darling?" She would shrug, "I made it up since Archer looks all gothic." I'd chuckle, setting my hands in my pocket, "I suppose he is, isn't he, Darling?" Jay would look at me, "Do you work with Archer?" I'd nod, "I do. He...goes the extra mile when it comes to work." She'd nod slowly, "Hey, Lacey..." She'd take a dollar out of their pocket. "Get me a soda...You know what I like." "I'm pocketing this." She said before running off with a smile. She'd cross their arms, looking at me. "I have questions for you." I'd smile, setting a hand to my side, the other on my chest. "How interesting, I have questions for you as well, Angel." She'd narrow their eyes, "What are Archer's intentions?" I would shrug, "I'm afraid I am unsure about that. I didn't even know that you existed, unfortunately. This ties to my question, why are you with Archer?" She'd look around, before sighing. "He's literally forcing me to keep him in my house..." I'd nod slowly. Seems like Archer. What am I supposed to tell her though? That Archer is a murderer who probably wants to kill her next? Archer is only there since he was nearly caught in the act of killing. I don't think so. Jay would wave their hand in front of me. "Hey, are you going to tell me why?" I'd chuckle, "I'm afraid I don't know why he would do such a thing...Maybe he just truly likes you?" I felt their death glare on me. "He just broke into my house and won't leave. And it's because he likes me?" She'd ask sarcastically. "Milo was it, you are a nice man. I can tell. You put up with all the crap that sprouts from Archer's big fat mouth. You can tell me." I'd look around nervously. Great heavens...
