Archer

I lay there staring at the ceiling. Sighing slightly. I was stuck here until Jay would wake up. That seemed...like I would be up in the next life. How the hell does someone sleep for this long? I'd hear a tap on the window, looking over. I'd see nobody since there were blinds over it. I'd break out of my restraints, aka Jay's arms, and move over to the window, that was dangerous close to the bed. I'd set a blanket over my crotch so whoever was there wouldn't be flashed. I'd cover up Jay as well. I'd open the blinds seeing Lacey. I'd open the window, the glass falling out and laying at her feet, looking at her. She'd cover her mouth, looking at me. "Don't tell Jay." I'd mouth. She'd let out a giggle, moving her hands. I'd clear my throat."What is it, pipsqueak?" I'd question. She'd gasp, "I'm not that small! You're just huge!" I'd chuckle, trying to find out how to get that window back into place. "What do you need, Laces?" She'd chuckle, "Is Jay there?" I'd cover Jay with my head. "No?" She'd stare at me, then look around the room. "Your pants are on the couch...Did you guys-" I'd cover her mouth, "Sh! I'm not fully sure about what happened and-" She'd lick my hand. I'd groan, "Are you licking my hand!?" I'd wipe my hand on her hair, "I'm trying to explain myself!" She'd try to push me away, both of us freezing when we heard Jay groan. She was moving in the bed. I'd sigh, "Go up to the front door, I'll let you in and we can talk, Alright?" She'd nod, leaving the window. I'd sigh, leaning out of the window and pulling it back to its place. It wasn't going to stay forever...but if nobody slammed the door it should be fine. I'd pull the blinds back down. I'd move over to my clothes that were scattered around. I found my boxers and pants only, putting them on. My sweater was...somewhere... I'd bring myself outside the room, my sweater still nowhere to be found. I'd sigh, going towards the door and opening it, Lacey letting herself in. "You still don't have a shirt on." I'd sigh, "I don't know where my sweater is...Plus none of Jay's clothes would begin to fit me." She'd chuckle, sitting down on the couch. "I'm glad you find that funny." I'd sit next to her. "You said you aren't fully sure what happened?" She'd question. I'd nod, "Yeah...I haven't had the guts to wake up Jay and ask..." She'd nod slowly, "Oh yeah...You had like eighty margaritas...Well...You smell like a horny teenager." I'd groan, my head resting on the headrest, my arm covering my eyes. "Greattt...." She'd tilt her head, "Have you...never done it with Jay?" I'd look over, "Uh...No...I hadn't...and I don't even remember it." She'd nod, "Sucks to suck." I'd groan, "You aren't helping me, you know..." She'd shrug, "You aren't helping Jay much...she barely trusts you." I'd look over, "Why?" She'd shrug, "She feels like you're hiding things..." She'd look at the dog tag on my neck, "What's that from?" I'd look down at the necklace. "You're real noisy, you know that?" She'd nod, "It's in my nature." I'd sigh, shaking my head. "It's from when I was in the war..." She'd narrow her eyes, "Which one? World War 1?" I'd look over, "I'm not that old, god damn it...besides...I was young when I was in the war..." She'd lean in to study the tag. I'd back up, not enjoying how close she was getting. "That isn't your name though..?" She'd question. I'd nod, "Yeah...it was my friend's..." I'd lie. She'd nod, "That's sweet...who was it?" I'd sigh, my hand covering the tag. "I don't...want to talk about it." She'd nod slowly. "Did something bad happen to them?" I'd sigh, nodding. "Yeah...But...as I said. I don't want to talk about it." She'd sigh, tilting her head. "Wouldn't talking about it make you feel better?" She'd shrug, "Maybe, but I am not looking into talking about my feelings." She'd shrug, "You'll open up one dayyyy." I'd chuckle, "Yeah...Sure I will, Laces..." She'd chuckle, getting up and going into the kitchen. "Oh, look. Your natural habitat." I'd joke. She'd look at me, a smirk on her face. "You know it." I'd look over, seeing Jay walk in, my sweater covering their body. I'd narrow my eyes, "Now how'd you find that..." She'd shrug, "It was in the bathroom." Ah. The one place I didn't look. Lacey would smile, waving to Jay. "How'd you get in here..?" They'd question. She'd smile and point to me. I'd shrug, "She let herself in after I said she could go to the front door and I'd let her in, like a vampire..." She'd nod, "They aren't the only vampire..." I'd look over. "What?" She'd look away, a smile on their face, "Hm?" I'd sigh in defeat. They were probably just being a nerd, pre-usual. I'd reach into my pocket, pulling out the phone I desperately needed hours ago. I'd open it to see so many messages, mainly from Bitch Boy...(Milo) I'd sigh, reading through the messages.

Bitch Boy: Archer! I'm sorry to bother you,

but I could use your help! (11:54 pm)

Bitch Boy: Never mind! So sorry to bother you! (12:09 am)

Bitch Boy: Archer, I'm sorry to message you once again,

but I've heard horrible news...(3:34 am)

Bitch Boy: Archer? Are you awake? (4:14 am)

Bitch Boy: You're normally awake by now. (4:18 am)

Bitch Boy: Jammie is coming to the bar tonight. He wants to see you there. (4:24 am)

Bitch Boy: I'll see you at work. I hope you have a wonderful morning. (4:27 am)

I'd groan, staring at the messages. That man never sleeps, does he? I'd look up at Jay, who was watching Lacey cook. I'd stand up, walking over. "Hey, Jay...How would you feel about going on a date tonight? I'm paying." Lacey would look over and gasp, "Woah! Two dates in a row! You're such a lucky one, Jay!" She'd smile. Jay would look over, "Sure...I don't have anything planned for the next three years..." She'd joke. I'd smile, "Good." I would not want to be alone with that...lunatic anyhow... I'd go to text Milo back. "I'll be out and about in the meantime...you two have fun." I'd say to Lacey and Jay. I was making my way out the door.

Bitch Boy: Jammie is coming to the bar tonight. He wants to see you there. (4:24 am)

Bitch Boy: I'll see you at work. I hope you have a wonderful morning. (4:27 am)

Yeah...I'll be there. (9:23 am)

I'd freeze when my hand went to turn the door knob. I'd turn around and hold my hand out in front of Jay. "Sweater. Now." Lacey would giggle watching this. "Let me take it off in my room..." Jay would move away. "I mean, you were welcome to do it in front of me." "As if!" I'd hear Jay yell. I'd chuckle, setting my phone in my pocket.
