The thick jacket finally covered my cold body when Mom have put it on me. Dad shut the trunk after putting my baggage there. I'm gonna miss this place for once.

"Haerin, Gin, take care..." Mom said and kissed my cheek, "Bring her safe to the airport." she added.

"I won't put our daughter in danger." Dad teasingly looks at Mom, I know by the way their eyes pin at one another.

I finally took my seat next to the driver's seat after giving my last wave to Mom. It surely makes me lonely but since I'm used to it, I can almost handle this neverending goodbyes.

Haneul's not here again. I wonder if she even knew that I'm flying back to Boston.

"Dad, wait up..." my hand slowly placed on Dad's arm when I noticed a girl here at a bus stop.

The bus stop...

"Why?" he confusingly asks, "Danielle?" he mumbles when he sees what I've seen too.

"I-I'll talk to her for a minute." I said. I don't know what came in my mind. I don't know where this courage came but it's now or never.

I opened the car door, smoke emits my mouth as I breathe.

Eventhough I know that Danielle noticed me...she's still looking down. My toes quivers. I don't know what to do. Should I go and approach her?

"Dani...?" I approaches, like how I did last year. But she didn't even flinch.
"It's cold here..." I murmured with my heart beating fast.

"I was waiting for winter enable to feel someone's presence...it's fine..." she said that's why I clenched my fists.

"W-Why are you always here?" I asked without moving a feet.

"Ghosts stays in the place where they opened their eyes because if they wander from afar, they'd feel more than lost." Dani stated and never bother to look at me, "Why are you here?"

i missed you...i really missed you Dani...

"I happened to pass by. I'll be going back to Boston today..." i said

"How many summer or winter, Haerin-ah..."

My eyebrows arches, "W-What do you mean?"

"Don't you get it? Or you chose not to...because once upon a time, two lost souls shared an oblivious feelings with each other..." Dani mumbled and drew a heart shaped on the snowy ground, "The other soul wanders around...the other one stayed in the place where they left their hearts.I am so sad...maybe the only heart that's left was mine..." she stated. I felt my tears forming...but I don't know what she's talking about.

It's cold. I feel so cold...

"You can go now, haerin. I'm gonna take the right path." Danielle stood up, her eyes shifts on the left roadside where the golden bell tree was and there...I saw Haneul standing.

"Dani...let's watch the horizon together someday?" I asks.

"You're scared of deep bodies of water so as the ocean. Take care, Haerin."

My eyes darted at the footsteps that's left on the snowy ground.

There's something I wanna say...but I can't...

"Dani, I'm...I'm just 16. I'll be better so we can watch the horizon without me feeling scared, even the big waves come-"

"Dani!, hurry! Jiwon is waiting!" Haneul shouts from afar.

The single tear that fell from my eye quickly vanished.

It's okay...Just next time...
