Haku was relieved to hear that the three boys had a clean bill of health. They had become closer since arriving at the wisteria house. Zenitsu had gleefully provided whatever feedback he could on her training. With both her and Nezuko around, the boy was in heaven. Haku was happy to see he still favored Nezuko, spending time talking to her in her box. Zenitsu was too young for her anyway. Haku had managed to develop a few forms of a breathing style all her own. She called it Inyo breathing, and used what she recalled of Sun breathing and Moon breathing as well as bits of Tanjiro's water breathing and Zenitsu's thunder breathing to develop it. She was now a little more confident in her ability to fight. Having trained in kendo and judo for real really came in handy. The first step of anything was basic swordsmanship. The trip had received an assignment to head to mount Natagumo. Haku grimaced, knowing what waited up on that mountain. Tanjiro had tried to convince Haku to stay behind, but she refused.

She, Inosuke, and Tanjiro were running into the forest. Zenitsu had thrown a fit and been left behind, but Haku knew he would ultimately be fine, albeit a little short. She laughed at her horrible pun. Honestly he needed this to happen to develop. She hoped she could do the same. They slowly approached Marada when they noticed him scurrying through the trees. He almost jumped out of his skin when tanjiro touched his shoulder. "I'm Kamado Tanjiro rank mizunoto and this is Hashibira Inosuke and Namikaze Haku." Marada looked at them. "Mizunoto? We need a hashira! And is she even part of the corp?" He pointed to Haku who shook her head. "Nope not officially, but I have been working on a breathing technique." Marada looked at them like all hope was lost. Haku heard the sound of metal as various members of the corp were being used as dancing corpses attached to strings. Haku lept into action, finding and slicing off the spider webs. "They have little spiders on them connecting them to webs like puppets. Destroy those and they will be freed temporarily." She instructed the others who looked at her in shock. How had she deduced that so quickly? The group joined in and Marada looked at the group. "You guys go on ahead. I can handle these guys myself. They're predictable." Haku nodded and ran deeper into the forest quickly followed by Tanjiro and Inosuke. Haku just dodged the oncoming assault of a girl being controlled by the webs. The girl cried, pleading for them to run. Tanjiro covered his mouth in shock when a boy with twisted limbs attacked him. "Please kill me. Every bone is broken and it's stabbing my organs. Every movement hurts. Please." Tanjiro tried to slice the webs, but the boy was made to dodge. Inosuke rushed in, ready to kill the boy. "Inosuke no! He's one of us!" Tanjiro tried to stop him. Inosuke waved his swords around. "He's asking us to put him out of his misery here!" Haku choked back vomit. She was unsure how to begin to save these people, and knew some were not long for dead anyway.

It was not long before Tanjiro came up with the idea to throw the slayer puppets over trees to immobilize them. Haku stopped him before he could. "Wait. We need to find the demon first or they will likely kill them for being worthless." Tanjiro nodded. "You're probably right. Do either of you have a way to locate them? I can't pick out their scent." Inosuke laughed maniacally. "I got you there!" He stabbed his swords into the ground and used his beast breathing to locate the main target. Haku felt a strange sensation and looked up. Above them seemingly suspended in air was Lower moon 5 Rui. Inosuke noticed and used one of the slayers to shoot himself into the air where he just missed slashing Rui. Rui was unfazed, looking at them in disgust. His eyes rested on Haku for a moment, then he vanished. Haku looked at Inosuke and Tanjiro. If they sent Tanjiro out now, they could avoid the bigger enemy she had up her sleeve. "Hey Inosuke! Throw Tanjiro towards the demon who's controlling these webs!" Inosuke pointed his sword at Haku. "I'm gonna be the one to kill that thing." Haku smiled playfully. "Oh, are you not strong enough? Sorry, I didn't know." Inosuke rushed towards Tanjiro and chucked him into the air. Inosuke turned to her. "See Nomiku Kazemi! I'm amazing!" Haku snorted at the horrible massacre of her name. "Yes, good job Inosuke! It's Namikaze Haku!" Insouke looked pleased to be praised. The two continued to fend off the attacking slayers until suddenly they fell to the ground. Haku smiled. Tanjiro had done it. Haku and Inosuke waited for the boy to rejoin them. Haku ran up to him. "Good job! Now we can focus on the others. I'm sure hashira are on the way-" Haku was cut short as a large spider-faced demon rushed towards her, hitting her into the air. She used her sword to block the brunt of the attack, but she was sent flying through the forest. She landed in some bushes who knows how far away. The breath was knocked out of her and she had to breath shortly to catch her breath. She then gingerly got herself out of the brush, picking leaves from her hair. That was unpleasant. The so-called father of the family really was a pain.

Haku started walking through the forest cautiously. She was unsure when she may encounter one of the remaining spider family. Haku heard a sound coming from above. She looked up to see a boy in a green checker haori flying towards her. He managed to cushion his fall with his water breathing, but still landed roughly in front of her. Haku rushed over and helped Tanjiro up. "Glad I'm not the only one taking flying lessons today. You alright?" Tanjiro rubbed the cheek that had been slammed on the ground. "Yeah I'm fine. Glad to see you are too. We have to hurry back to inosuke-" The two were distracted by a scream. Tanjiro took Haku's hand and guided the two towards the sound where they found a white haired girl crying on the ground while a white haired boy stood above her holding a spider web. Haku gasped. That was Rui of the twelve kizuki! She squoze Tanjior's hand to get his attention to warn him, but Rui had already noticed them. "This isn't a show you know."
