A mountain of lunch boxes sat across from Haku where she sat next to Kyojuro. Kyojuro took one off the top of the stack, popped it open and took a bite. "Umai!" He announced loudly. He picked up another portion and turned to Haku. He held out the bite for her. She took the bite. "Wow, it really is good." Kyojuro quickly handed her a box of her own. She gratefully accepted it and dug in, dancing a little as she ate. Kyojuro smiled amused. The whole train car's attention was on them as they ate, because with every bite Kyojuro declared UMAI loudly. When Haku finished her box, Kyojuro handed her another. She was surprisingly hungry so she dug into it as well. She paused. "Kyojuro, we are gonna encounter a lower moon on this train." He cut his eyes over at her. "I see. Any details?" he asked her. She took another bite before answering. "He uses a blood demon art that puts one to sleep. Honestly I'm not sure how to combat it. Not when it's first cast. Except to kill yourself in your dream." Kyojuro stopped eating and studied her. He finally spoke. "Don't fret Haku. We will find a way to win no matter what." She smiled at him and both returned to eating.

A little bit later, the two were joined by Tanjiro, Inosuke, and Zenitsu. Zenitsu sang out Haku's name in greeting, then cut Kyojuro and Tanjiro a dirty look. "Everyone else gets to travel alone with the beautiful Haku! Not fair! Is this guy even really a hashira!" Haku smiled and waved at Zenitsu. "Hi Zenitsu. Yep, he's the flame hashira alright." Tanjiro confirmed it to them. The train staff had gathered up the empty boxes from their feast, and Tanjiro sat across from them. Zenitsu dealt with an ever hyperactive Inosuke in the seats the aisle over. Tanjiro nervously asked Kyojuro about Hinokami Kagura, and he boldly exclaimed he had no clue. Haku interjected. "It's called Sun breathing. It's the first ever breathing form." Tanjiro marveled at Haku's knowledge. "Wom, Haku! The first breathing style, hm. Who created it?" Haku waved her hand. "It's really a long story. We don't really have time right now." She knew what was coming soon. Kyojuro agreed. "Exactly, you never know when a demon might appear." He cautioned, reminding everyone why they were there. Zenitsu went into a panic, crying about dealing with demons. The conductor then came to punch their tickets. Just after he did, screams erupted in the nearby car. Everyone rushed to action, drawing their blades. A large demon hung from the ceiling. Everyone had run for it, but one man was trapped by the demon. Kyojuro rushed into action, grabbing the man and returning to the others. He then quickly dispatched the demon. Zenitsu, Inosuke, and Tanjiro were amazed. They returned to their seats. Haku noted that all the passengers were asleep, and soon her eyes were feeling heavy. No, Enmu's spell.

Haku was in a white void dressed in her hakama and pink top from her world. She looked around frantically. Where was she? Was she not just on the train? She felt a hand on her shoulder. "You must wake up, child. He cannot be allowed to see your dreams." Haku turned to see Yoriichi. "Yoriichi. I know, I just need a sword." Yoriichi stepped back and drew his blade. "I'm sorry I failed in my mission. Such a pathetic being as I shouldn't put this burden on you." Haku stamped her foot. "Don't talk about yourself like that! Your legacy lives on, passed down with those hanafuda earrings. Kamado Tanjiro uses sun breathing still. Just the very fact that it exists still puts fear in Muzan, fear so deep his other demons feel it. Then you wanted to change the future so much, I somehow ended up here, and I will do everything I can to change things." Haku hated to hear him loathe himself. Yoriichi smiled a little. "I fear Muzan could also benefit." He spoke with sadness. Haku reached out to him as he brought his blade down on her. What did he mean?

Her eyes opened and she shot up from where she was laying in Kyojuro's lap. Yoriichi what did you mean? She slapped herself to bring herself back to the moment. No time for that. Looking around, she could see she was the only one not tied to a rope. She saw little Nezuko trying to wake Tanjiro. She patted her on the head. "Hey Nezuko, use your blood and burn all of the ropes ok? Then defend the passengers." Nezuko hummed agreement and started igniting the ropes. Good they would all wake soon. Haku opened her window and slid out, climbing onto the top of the train. Enmu would have his main body at the front. She ran along the top of the train until she came upon Enmu. Or what was likely just a manifestation of him from his flesh. She could already hear the fleshy sounds below. Gross. "Never have I met a human who's dreams I can't see." Enmu had a hint of annoyance in his voice. "It's as if something else is stopping me. Be a good girl and go to sleep so I can present you to lord Muzan!" Haku kept her focus away from his hands and eyes. "My dreams are for me alone! And I'm not too keen on meeting Muzan." She would do nothing but piss off the Michael Jackson look alike anyway. She had a whole bucket of burn to dump on him. If she lived to do so.

She readied her sword and rushed Enmu. he tried to cast the sleep spell on her, and everytime it failed, as if she had become immune. Enu started to panic, dodging her attacks. "Inyo breathing: second form: Kukan!" She moved through the weak point in Enmu's stance and cut off his head. The body quickly disintegrated while the head attached to a tendril of flesh on the train. Haku heard the clatter of footsteps on the top of the train and turned to see Tanjiro running up. "Haku-san! What the-! His head's attached to the train!" Enmu looked at Tanjiro closely, noting his hanafuda earrings. "Oh my! What fortune! I can kill you and get more of Lord Muzan's blood." Haku snarled at him. "Not on my watch! Fusing with the train won't save you either!" Enmu's head wiggled about. "I can see why he's interested in you." The head disappeared into the train before Tanjiro was able to cut it. He looked back at Haku. "That means he's got the whole train hostage. Two cars would be my max to protect, then we have to go for his real body." Haku hurriedly tried to calm him. "It's fine. The passengers will be fine. Everyone will be awake soon." As if on cue, Inosuke came bursting through the ceiling onto the top of the train. "I'm coming through! Let's go, minions!" He announced, pointing his swords forward. Haku smiled at him. She was curious what animal she had been in his dream. A white rabbit perhaps, because of her hair and eyes. Tanjiro immediately told him the train was a demon, which just made Inosuke think he was right to begin with when he said it was a monster. Inosuke headed back down inside to defend the passengers. The train shook and the flesh made its way to the outside as well, providing better footing for them in a way, and creeping Haku out as every step produced a strange squish. Tanjiro looked at Haku. "Go on ahead, I'll help with the passengers for now!" Haku nodded and the boy swung down and busted into one of the windows. Haku kept moving forwards.

The sound of thunder rumbled. Good. Zenitsu was...well... engaged. A few moments later the whole train shook, flying up off the rails. Haku flew into the air and just caught herself on a lump of flesh, and pulled herself back up onto the train. Jeez Kyojuro, you almost killed me. Haku made it to the front of the train where the coal was loaded. Inosuke came up to join her. "Hamiko! This is the weak spot." He mispronounced her name as usual. "It's Haku and yes down there. Cut off the top for me!" Inosuke readied himself for attack. "No need to say anything! Already done!" He sliced off the top of the train car and the two jumped inside. The conductor stared at them in horror while Inosuke threatened him. Tanjiro jumped down and joined them. Inosuke used his breathing to cut into the area where the neck was. Tanjiro then sliced into it, causing the train to scream in agony. Tendrils erupted and came to attack them, they all jumped back out of the way and a flashy bowl formed around it. Eyes popped up all along the flesh. Haku turned to Inosuke. "Attack the eyes! Tanjiro will keep getting put to sleep otherwise!" Haku dodged out of the way and landed near Tanjiro. He looked at her. "What about you though?" Haku steadied her fighting stance. "I'm immune for some reason." Silently she knew it had to be Yorrichi helping guard her memories. If he saw into her, then Muzan would know she was from another world.

Tanjiro pushed her out of the way as the conductor ran at her to stab her. The blade dug into his lower abdomen. "Tanjiro!" Haku screamed. Tanjiro grimaced. "I'll be fine. Let's go help Inosuke." Haku knew he would be fine, so she nodded. The two started dodging the tendrils, following Inosuke down into the center of the bowl of flesh. Inosuke slashed deep, exposing the neck bone within. Haku kept cutting tendrils and fighting them off Tanjiro while Inosuke targeted the eyes. Hinokami Kagura: clear Blue Sky hit its mark and the train derailed. Haku was thrown into the air.
