185. Pyro

Archelous was standing on the rooftop of Bran castle closing his eyes and concentrating. He was conjuring forces from within the castle. 

Vasile appeared on the rooftop "What are you doing?"

Archelous did not stop what he was doing and replied "I should ask you the same thing... Why aren't you with your dear cousin in stone henge? Why are you back so soon? I thought you wanted to have some bonding time with him?"

Vasile sighed as he stood next to Archelous staring into the distance "Vasco is quite occupied right now... Alot has changed within a day..."

Archelous opened his eyes and pointed to the skies as a thunder growled from the clouds. He stated "He is not the romantic type... He wont be occupied for too long with Alexandra... Besides there is a war going on..."

Vasile said "I didnt say he is occupied with his blood match... He has locked her up as you can imagine an empathic healer can have a strong will before she gives in... She is locked up in a tower to have some thinking time... What Vasco is occupied with is his sister... Apparently Alexander is a commander that Vasco would have liked to have on his side... But his sister is staying with the guy in Arkansas because he can gain some knowledge... Family drama is not pretty so I got out of there as fast as I could to give him some space to take out his rage at his sister with his telephonic communications...."

Archelous threw a lightening bolt to the skies and roared a Ronas spell that Vasile did not recognise.

Vasile said "What are you actually doing?"

Archelous said "I am done with waiting... I wont wait for Vasco to give me the clear to attack Arkansas..."

Vasile asked "You are attacking Arkansas before Dante and Athena's wedding? Are you mad?"

Archelous said "Dante expects the attack... I know he does... We need to attack before the wedding..."

Vasile said "You are one man... How can you do significant damage? At least let me help you..."

Archelous roared another Ronas spell and flashes of light surrounded him. 

Vasile took steps back as he could feel the Ronas dark spells surrounding Archelous. 

Archelous said "Get back inside the castle and keep Azalea company while I do this... You have one task and thats protecting my sister if this goes all wrong... I dont need you in the middle of this attack... I need to do this for myself... I cant involve you... Only Ronas specialty spells will work on my targets that I am striking...."

Vasile asked "At least tell me what you are going to do?"

Archelous said "You will find out.... Leave..."

Vasile said "No..." Before he could say more he found himself teleported into Bran castle. He found himself seated in the living room next to Azalea who was sitting with Arielle, the enchanter witch. Arielle seemed quite down since, Serena or Arwayne had left. But it was for the greater good or so she claimed.

Azalea was eating pop corn watching the news from messenger spheres that were showing images of Alaska being freed. "I wonder where the pearls of Mississippi are now..."

Vasile asked "Pearls of what?"

Azalea said "Pearls of Mississippi... The historical pearls are from Mississippi River before it was dried up and are from a necklace originally. Athena might have it back now... The pearls spell were used to protect Alaska... Now that Alaska is free the pearls have disappeared and their protection has ended. So someone has the necklace. I hope Archelous can get it back to us..."
