You're In My Head

I was right...

I couldn't speak anymore a huge lump came up in my throat it was like the breath from my lungs had been terminated " I know" Julie replied "You do?-" I asked, in confusion came to my face but to be honest she is my best friend and I just happened to walk out of my crush's room and of course, the host of the night went missing at the same moment I did. how could I be so naive "Yes I do, Angelina I don't care who you sleep with or like as long as you're happy," she said with a reassuring smile "Thank you, this is why you are my best friend" I replied with a smile "hey!" my brother said barging into my room "God don't you knock?" I replied annoyed with the lack of privacy my bother gives me "No I don't and your boy toy is outside" he said with an annoyed tone "What?" me and Julie said in sync we looked at each other in shock I jumped up off my bed and tried zooming past my brother standing in the doorway, as I walked forward he slammed his arm in front of me preventing me from going through "hey!" I shouted in raged at my brother "Do not leave the yard" he grunted his facial expression was serious I almost laughed my brother serious? That is preposterous I pushed his arm down to his side and walked forward scared at what emotion I would face at the door but I was also happy because a little part of me pondered the fact that what if he cared about me?

I turned the knob slowly and opened the door to a sliver only allowing him to see my face "Hi?" I said raising a brow confused about why the Playboy of the school showed up on my doorstep "Hello, Angel" he said with a grin "Don't call me that and wipe that smug grin off your face" I replied I stopped I was doing it again I was being rude to him to protect myself I do it a lot ever sense my dad left "anyway, what are you doing here?" I asked "I came to see if you were okay" he replied still grinning god I was so mad at him and yet he stood there looking so damn fine, "I'm fine" I replied with a sarcastic smile "Ok Angel I see how it is, see you
tomorrow" he said turning to walk away I shut the door and locked it just as I was turning away I heard a knock I quickly walked over to the door "I told you I was Fine-" I shouted swinging the door open.

"Hi to you too," my mom said walking past me and setting her purse on the counter "Sorry Mom I was arguing with someone" I replied "Do I know this someone?" she asked smiling "No you don't but I'm going to go to bed," I told her  "ok sweetheart, did all 3 of you eat?" she asked "yes, of course, mom I love you," I said smiling in reassurance "love you too," my mom said digging in her bag.

I ran up the stairs and shut my door "Tell me everything!" Julie said as I plopped on my bed I told her everything when I finished it was around 1:00 a.m. I guess my sleep schedule from the summer still stuck around "We should probably go to bed" I groaned Julie nodded her head yawning we laid down back to back and I quickly covered myself up knowing how bad of a blanket hog Julie can be. Before I knew it I was out like a light, I had been so exhausted.

"Angelina wake up!" my brother shouted as he threw a pillow in my face "School lets go!" I sat up from the bed my eyes were squinted I could barely see and my mouth was so dry I uncovered myself and walked to my closet searching for an outfit I slipped off my clothes and put on one of my favorite go-to outfits it was a white vintage Taylor Swift t-shirt with old baggy blue jeans and an old dirty red zip up hoodie I walked out of my room and walked down the stairs "Julie!" I called walking down the stairs "Not here" my brother shouted from the kitchen "Well then where is she?" I said walking over to the coffee pot "she said something about not wanting to be late and not to tell you- oops" he said slurping his coffee he didn't care my brother loves causing drama I was too tired to worry about it I drank half of my coffee and walked to the bathroom I stood there for about 15 minutes perfecting my makeup when I was done I checked the time "oh shit it's 6:40 let's go, Ethan!" I exclaimed sprinting over to the door I pulled on my Converse and laced them up tight I threw on my backpack and ran out the door my brother ran out behind me slamming the door.

As the bus pulled up to the side of the high school my eyes immediately darted to the lawn scanning for Mason or any of his friends I truly missed him but for some reason, he couldn't know how I felt about him. As I was scanning the grounds of my  high school I saw Julie darting across the lawn to the greenhouse with 3 latte cups in her hand confusion flowed through my face as I stepped off the bus steps onto the sidewalk. My brother of course ran past me to go meet up with his friends I stayed behind following them hoping they would lead me to Mason but no I couldn't find him, they only led me to breakfast "Hi!" Julie exclaimed as she came running up to me with only 2 lattes in hand "Hi?" I replied raising my voice slightly trying to let her know I was confused she's blonde so she doesn't always get it. "So I talked to Mason!" She said with a huge grin on her face that explained where the other latte had gone and the unexpected absence this morning "What'd you talk to him about?" I asked I did not want her to know I was a mess over him she would tell my mom in concern my mother would call a shrink "Oh nothing, I just told him if he hurt you I would go off on his ass and ruin his life" she said with a grin on her face "WHAT!" I said with a shocked look on my face I was annoyed of course she would do that, but then I remembered she loves me and she's just protecting me, plus it's her instinct.

As I was talking with Julie and eating breakfast the bell rang and we made our way to the hall we had first period together so we walked together as we were talking I saw him I saw mason walking arm-in-arm with another girl they were laughing and smiling at each other how could I be so stupid My face got red and I wanted to cry I was very emotional I guess but not in front of other people for fear of being made fun of "well I guess your going to have to ruin his life then" I told Julie tearing up "what?" she said turning her head then she seen him we both sat there in utter shock as we watched Mason the man that dropped everything to check on me last night walking arm-in-arm with Valerie.

Hey guys hope you like the new chapter sorry for not writing that much life has been being life but I'm back on track and WILL be writing much more.
