I stared at him blankly. I slowly reached for the panel and unlocked the doors. He opened the door and climbed it. He sat down and fastened his seatbelt. "Go to 2250 Northcedar St." He instructed, I simply nodded with the feeling of tears that stained my face. I turned on the car and drove.

We arrived at a factory. The factory said Bradbury in the front of it with big letters. It looked abandoned, and it was on the poor side of the city. He instructed me to get out of the car I listened stepped out and shut the door, I lived in poverty I was not afraid or disgusted by the poor after all I was the poor.

He grabbed my arm and pulled me forward, forcefully not even giving me time to take a step it was raining and my hair was soaked the white shirt I was wearing became drenched I quickly crossed my arm so my bra would not be visible as we approached the entrance.

"Are you cold?" He asks "No my shirt is just see-through" I mutter "Here," he says wrapping his jacket around my shoulders it was leather but surprisingly warm, I zipped it up and left the collar unbuttoned. I turned to him "So you have a lot of answers to give me" I said folding my arms "Well ask questions" he added he was so frustrating one minute he was kind to me like I mattered to him and the next minute I mean utterly nothing.

"My brother says you are a part of the mafia and your father runs it, have any excuses?" I asked cocking my head to the side with a slight smirk he stepped forward leaving only a few inches in between us he leaned down to my ear his breath on my neck left a tingle down my spine "Your brother is correct angel, I am to be the next leader of the mafia" he whispers, stepping back smiling.

The shock had flooded my whole body, I was surprised but if there was something I was good at, it was masking my feelings he would not and could not know this new information got to me.

"Ok so you gonna be the next leader cool, why the fuck did you just fuck me and then act like you were with Valire," I say enraged. His jaw tenses and his face turns emotionless did he really care this little of Me? "Look you've been in my head, from the day I saw you till now, I told my cousin about you and he told my father, my father flipped and told me to break your heart, I tried so hard but I couldn't you're just" "in your head" I interrupt "exactly," he mutters

I step forward gazing into his eyes "You like me" I say smirking I knew that I had power over him he had power over me as well. Fuck I craved him like I had been starved my whole life but he would never know how much I wanted him.

"I already told you that angel" he spoke "Mhm" I hummed in agreement I stepped closer to him, close enough to feel his breath on my face. "You like me too" he mutters grabbing my chin and tilting my head back I scoff and step back "I may have an interest in you but I will never be your silly little girlfriend you cheat on when you're bored" I groan rolling my eyes he may believe I am his but I am not after the shit he pulled and he expects me to believe his father is at fault? Not happening.

He grabs my waist and pulls me in. I try to wiggle out of his grasp but I fail, "Angelina" he pauses fuck hearing my name come out of his mouth makes me want him even more. "I can see the disgust all over your face I swear I want you and only you, I don't care what my father says" he grumbles he moves his hand upward wiping the tear that fell from my eyes.

His eyes soften and he smiles at me I've never seen him smile before but I have to say I could get used to it.

I looked at him and thought for a moment he might be interesting to date but I was not going to waste my time on him I will see how this goes first. I was already in too deep with him there was no chance I could back out now.

I look back at him smiling "fine, take me on a date, prove to me you are worthy of me" I spoke "why do you think we're here?" He grins.

This mother fucker, he already had this whole thing planned. I didn't like surprises especially not knowing things so he and this plan agitated the hell out of me.

"Amazing date spot" I say sarcastically, he grinned at me, I rolled my eyes back at him. I turned and looked around I noticed a staircase and headed toward it. I couldn't feel his presence around me "Come on" I said not Turning to face him, and he followed.

I reached the top of the stairs and glanced down the hall to my left. I walked up to a green door, it was covered in ash, and worn. I opened it and peered inside all of a sudden hands gripped my waist, it was Mason I could tell by his bracelet " you don't need to go in there angel" he whispered tucking my hair behind my ear.

I couldn't tell whether I liked it or not but it didn't matter I was very clear I was not another girl on my knees for him we had drunk sex that's all it was he made it clear he didn't want anything more serious.

I grabbed his hands and wiggled out of his grasp "Why" I said turning to face him "What's in it is not for your beautiful eyes to see Amor" he smirked I rolled my eyes and walked away "Wait" he shouted grabbing my wrist "come with me" he mumbled.

He led me to a room the floor was a deep chestnut wood with the furniture being matte black and it appeared to be an office. "What is this place," I asked turning to him "This was my brother's old office" he sighed "This was my father's previous headquarters before the fire"

He grabbed my hand "close your eyes darling and do not be afraid I am here" he whispered. I felt cold metal grazed my palm, a gun, I was holding a gun, he put a gun in my hand, fuck no this is bad.

I hated guns. I dropped it and immediately backed away "What the fuck Mason, after everything that happened last night you give me a gun?" I yelled  "I want you to learn how to use it," he said calmly "No what the hell I'm not doing that" "you need to you, need to learn how for you and your family's protection" he sighed "Why would I need to be protected?" I questioned  "Because to fall for me is dangerous" he expressed then went silent.
