Chapter XXII
I wake up in a painful daze, there is blood coating my eyes and obscuring my vision, I hear Jess's voice calling, "Finnick....Wake.." But her voice keeps fading away awkwardly, I hear a musculine voice calling, "AWAKE!" over and over. I suddenly feel Jess' lips on mine and I melt like chocolate. I am startled by something being shoved in my eyes to rub away the blood. I try to speak, "J-Je-Jeeeess..." I manage to mutter. The thing in my eyes has cleared away the blood and is now being removed, I can see, finally. My head aches horribly. I try to speak again, "Whe-wher-whe....where..." I stutter, Jess instantly responds but it is muffled and the noise hurts my head. It sounds like she, shes trying to say, "Bulam tamp..." What the heck does that mean?! Jess tries speaking again in that amazing voice, "Human camp...." Human camp! I hear a deafening beeping and people shrieking angrily and anxiously. I feel a machine being pressed into my chest awkwardly and I jerk crazily as an electric shock ricochetes throughout my body. I feel Jess kiss me again, just as my vision fades sleepily away.....
