"Serene I can't tell just..go and check it yourself it..it's too much and heavy to word out" Matilda's nervous voice sounded with a little bit of disgust which was unnoticed by Serene as she pace up and down in the room.
She cut off the call immediately and went online to check what got Matilda all this hyped and why didn't John or Rosy called her about it, she thought to herself.
"They must have not seen it" she quickly dismissed it and focused on what is practically now ruining her life.
It was a video of her naked on bed moaning under another man who's not John and that's when the memory of last night flooded back to her.
She remembered she only took a glass of a wine from a waiter who approached her, unknown to her a pill was dropped in it and was missioned to her and she drank it going into a drunken state, she left the party hoisted to celebrate on the success of one of their released movie to the bathroom to wash up her face but she didn't know how she ended up in the hotel that morning and now a video of her under this man whose face she can't even recognize.
She let the phone slide down her hands meeting the carpeted floor as she felt strucked by thunder in the middle of the forest and in the presence of tall trees, confusion then fear and regret.
"Has John seen it? Is he disgusted with me?" She asked herself her fear rising as she thought of the possibility and why he didn't call her or come to her.
She fell back on the Sofa feeling like she was dealt a heavy blow in the gut, she can't even make a noise nor cry, her perfect image is tainted by someone she has no idea of and why the person wanna destroy her.
She frantically squat down to take her phone to call John when she heard a sob coming from the TV and it was none other than the voice of her bestfriend on interview.
"It's true Serene cheats on John and she also does drugs".
