Taiyo left his father and returned to the Dragon Temple, where he saw Ryuma waiting for him.
Ryuma: (Smiles) My boy, you have returned
Taiyo: Did you expect anything less?
Ryuma: From you, no. Now let me see your power
Taiyo breathes in and starts to charge up his power, the land started to shake and Ryuma was in awe.
Taiyo: (Stops powering up) Woah, this power feels crazy
Ryuma: It is indeed
Taiyo: I should go back now
Ryuma: Wait, before you go. I have to say that much time has passed since you came here
Taiyo: (Shocked) WHAT?!
Ryuma: Time passes much faster on the outside while in here
Taiyo: What's going on outside then?!
Ryuma: The war has started and many ninja are fighting reanimated ninjas from the past and many Zetsus
Taiyo: Reanimated?
Ryuma: Apparently, Kabuto Yakushi has gained the ability to raise the dead and make soldiers out of them
Taiyo: That's insane
Ryuma: What's worse is that Madara Uchiha was resurrected as well
Taiyo: No way?! Not him! (Realizes something) So that means that the masked guy is not the real Madara?
Ryuma: Yes, he's just a stand in. I urge you to go now, time is of the essence
Taiyo: (Determined) I will stop this war!
Ryuma: (Smirks) I know you will, now go!
Taiyo goes through hand-signs and reverse summons himself out of the Land of Dragons. Taiyo poofed back into the real world and immediately left the compound, he used his newfound speed to zoom through the forest. He sensed a lot of chakra in font of him and knew it was a threat.
(A while later)
Taiyo was trying to find that chakra and came upon an area full of Zetsu clones with dead ninja all around them.
Zetsu Clone #1: Oh look, it's the Solar Boy!
Zetsu Clone #2: Let's get him!
Taiyo: (Angry) You killed these ninja, didn't you?
Zetsu Clone #6: (Laughs) Of course we did!
Taiyo had enough and charged the clones, he didn't even need to use that much power to take these guys down. He cut right through some of them while blasting the others, when he was done he said a silent prayer to all the dead ninja around him.
Taiyo: I hope the afterlife is good one...
The teen proceeded on his way.
(Near the Land of Waterfalls)
Taiyo had been jumping through trees for a long time now, he was en route to the Land of Lightning because of the massive amount of chakra he was feeling, but he soon felt someone's chakra approaching him, a chakra he hasn't felt in a long while. He saw the person getting closer to him and immediately knew who it was.
Taiyo: (Smiles) Itachi!
Itachi, now in a red cloak with reanimated eyes, looked over and was shocked to see who called out to him.
Itachi: Taiyo Shinjuka, it has been too long. Mere hours for me, but months for you
Taiyo: It's good to see you, man
