Team Kakashi were jumping from branch to branch trying to get to the Suna as fast as they can. Naruto starts to jump ahead of the group which causes Taiyo to jump next to him.
Taiyo: Remember to calm down like I told you before
Naruto: (Agitated) We can't waste anytime, we have to save Gaara!
Taiyo: I understand, but wasting your energy won't help
Naruto: (Nods head) Right
Sakura: Hey look, it's Temari!
Sakura statement was correct because Temari was on the ground walking back, the team jumps down to her.
Taiyo: Hey Temari!
Temari: (Turns around) Oh hey guys, what's up?
Naruto: Gaara has been taken and we were told to come find you
Temari: What?! Then we must hurry now!
Team: Right!
The team and Temari jumped into the trees and proceeded on their path.
Naruto: Grrr! (Jumps ahead)
Taiyo: Naruto!
Sakura: Naruto, please stop going ahead!
Naruto: (Desperate)I-we can't waste any time! You know why I wanna save Gaara so bad? The Nine-Tailed Fox is sealed inside me! You probably already knew that, right!?
Temari: (Stunned) What!?
Sakura was stunned as well because she started to realize and understand why Naruto was always the outcast and hated in the village.
Naruto: Taiyo already knows this, but me and Gaara are the same, we both have beasts inside us and we grew up hated in our own villages. I managed to forge bonds with people and it helped me out of a dark place, but Gaara didn't and continued suffer because of it! (Glares ahead) And the Akatsuki only want to use us as tools because of the beasts, I won't let them take Gaara and make him suffer more! That's goes for you too, Taiyo!
Kakashi: How's Taiyo connected with this?
Taiyo: Back then when I went with Sasuke to stop Itachi from hurting Naruto, I heard him say that their Leader needs something from me as well. I don't know what they want from me, but I won't let them take me, Naruto, or Gaara! Heroes always protect those in need, no matter the cost and I'm gonna be the best hero out there so no one will have to suffer anymore
Sakura: Taiyo, Naruto I know Itachi is the same person Sasuke wants to kill, he went to Orochimaru for power and Orochimaru wants Sasuke as his new vessel, Orochimaru has six months before choosing a new body. I know that one day you guys will have to fight Itachi and I wanna be there to protect you all
Taiyo: (Smiles at her) Thanks Sakura, we can always rely on you
Naruto: (Determined) Alright, let's go!
Temari: (Whispers) Thank you all so much
The team continue on towards the Sand.
(Three Days Later)
The group arrived at the Sand in record time and walk into the Kazekage Tower, a few Sand nin come over to them.
Sand Nin: Miss Temari you're back, good because Kankuro has been poisoned
Temari: (Shocked) What?! I need to see him!
Sakura: Let me come with you, I can help
Temari: Alright, this way! (Faces Taiyo, Naruto, and Kakashi) You three stay out here
Trio: Right!
The three sit down outside of the medical room.
Taiyo: Damn, even Kankuro was hurt too!
Kakashi: (Pats his shoulder) Don't worry kid, we'll our chance at the Akatsuki
???: White Fang, you will die here!
The three look over to see an elderly woman running over to them with a kunai. Taiyo gets and stops the old lady in her path.
Taiyo: (Threatening) You will not kill him
???: Lay off him sis, the White Fang died years ago
Old Lady: (Chuckles) Oh right, silly me (walks off towards her brother)
Taiyo: (Under his breath) Crazy old bag
Naruto: Hey Sensei, who is the White Fang?
Kakashi: The White Fang is my father, Sakumo Hatake
Old People: Huh?
Old Man: Well that makes sense, considering you look a lot like him. (Smacks himself) I'm sorry where are my manners, I'm Ebizo and this is my sister, Chiyo
Trio: Nice to meet you
(A couple hours later)
It's been a while since Sakura started healing Kankuro, Chiyo made the comment about how she reminds her of Tsunade. The operation was a success and Kankuro was fully healed, but still weakened. Baki, one of the village leaders, comes over to Kakashi.
Baki: We just received a message from your Hokage that Team Guy is on the way
Taiyo: Hell yeah, we get to see them again!
Naruto: I can't wait! (Starts to walk away) Now let's go find Gaara now!
Taiyo: (Grabs him) Not so fast idiot, do you even know where they are?
Naruto: Uhhhhhhhh....no
Taiyo: Then we wait
Baki: We lost track of the Akatsuki after the Kazekage was taken
Kakashi: Can you bring us to Kankuro, please?
Baki: Sure, what is it you need?
Kakashi: Just need to ask him some questions
The group walks into the medical room.
Baki: Kankuro, Kakashi would like to ask some questions
Kankuro: (Notices Naruto first) Woah, you definitely grew up kid. (Notices Taiyo) Hey what's up my man, did you finally score the chick, my boy?
Taiyo: (Smirks) I don't wanna brag, but yeah I did
Kankuro: (Pumps his fist) That's what I'm talking about. (Looks at Kakashi) So what is it?
Kakashi: Did you manage to get anything from the Akatsuki member you fought?
Kankuro: (Realizes) You know now that you mention it, I managed to snag a piece of clothing from him
Kakashi: Good. (Goes through hand-signs) Summoning Jutsu!
There was a puff of smoke and when it cleared there was a small little ninja dog, Pakkun.
Pakkun: What's up, Kakashi?
Kakashi: (Holds out clothing) Can track this scent for me?
Pakkun: (Sniffs clothing) Ok, I got the scent
Kakashi: Good
Baki: Please, we can offer you nights rest for your long journey before departing
Team Kakashi: Sure!
Kankuro: Taiyo, Naruto please save my brother for me, I couldn't live with myself if he died
Naruto: (Punches palm) Don't worry, we'll save him no matter what!
Taiyo: (Puts hand on shoulder) We saved him from darkness once, we'll save him from this darkness, I promise you that my friend
Naruto: I'll be Hokage one day!
Taiyo: I'm gonna be the greatest hero, the world has ever seen!
