Chapter 12

We went inside to the VIP area.Manuel and Carla went to dance right away, their bodies moving in sync with the music. 

It was clear that they were having a great time, with Manuel even spinning Carla around at times. 

I watched them from the sidelines, occasionally dancing along to the rhythm. 

Then Kain approached me and asked if I wanted to dance. Feeling a bit uneasy but wanting to fit in, I agreed. 

We joined the other couples on the dance floor, swaying to the music. 

As we danced, I suddenly felt a hand on my waist, pulling me closer to the person behind me. Startled, I turned my head to see that it was Kain. 

He had taken the opportunity to get closer, and I wasn't sure how to react. I glanced over at Carla, who was lost in her own dance, seemingly unaware of my discomfort. I tried to move away slightly, but Kain held me firmly, pressing me against him. It was making me feel increasingly uncomfortable. 

Just when I was about to voice my discomfort, Kain suddenly raised his voice, shouting at someone.

 Noah had entered the scene, and he and Kain were exchanging heated words.

 "What are you doing?" Kian shouted.

"Don't touch her" Noah shouted. 

 "Guys, they're going to get us out of here, calm down." Manuel quickly intervened to calm the situation down. 

I couldn't hear everything they were saying, but it was clear that there was tension in the air. 

Noah turned to look at me, and our eyes locked for a moment. He tried to approach me, but Kain held him back. 

Noah tried to explain himself, but I couldn't hear his words over the music.I was torn between my desire to confront Noah and my reluctance to make a scene. 

Carla whispered to me that Noah was likely jealous, and Kain seemed to be protective of me.

 Kain eventually let Noah go, and he walked away from our group.

 I stayed silent, unsure of what to say or do. It was clear that Noah's emotions were running high, and I didn't want to make matters worse.

 As the night went on, I couldn't help but wonder what Noah's intentions was.

 Did he genuinely care about our friendship, or was there something more to it?
