Chapter 3

                                                                                      Search Party

"FUCK YOU MEAN SHE'S MISSING!? I SAW HER AN HOUR AGO!?!??!" Jolie yelled. It had been an hour since Dex said Stina was missing. Dex was pacing around the room. Jolie was sitting on Sophie's bed being very very helpful. Sophie had been on the phone the entire time calling people to see if they had seen her, and calling the search parties every once in a while to see if there were any updates. Annabeth was sitting near Sophie, looking anxious.

"I- I don't know! She was just there- and then she wasn't-.. wait, did you say you saw her?" Dex said. Jolie nodded. "When I arrived, I ran into her. She said she was going to get some fresh air."

"AND YOU DIDN'T THINK TO ASK ANYMORE!?" Dex shouted.

Jolie stood up. "NO. I DIDN'T THINK SHE WAS GOING TO GO MISSING. I DON'T JUST WALK UP TO RANDOM PEOPLE AND ASK IF THEY'RE GOING TO GO MISSING, DEX," she screamed. Dex threw up his arms and sat down on a chair nearby, and then started sobbing. Jolie just stood there, literally not knowing what to do. 

"DEX I KNOW YOU'RE REALLY SAD BUT PLEASE SHUT UP IM ON THE DAMN PHONE," Sophie yelled. Then Dex walked out of the room and slammed the door. After thirty minutes of silence between Sophie, Jolie and Annabeth, (except for the phone calls) Dex came in again.

"Anything?"

Sophie looked at him, and stared at him until the phone call was finished. She put the phone down and shook her head. "They've looked around the entire castle and are now searching the villages. There are some people helping, too, but no one has found her yet." Dex looked very solemn. Jolie noticed Annabeth inching her way out, but didn't say anything. Dex breathed shakily, sat down, and cried again, louder than normal. Sophie slammed down the phone again and asked Jolie to enlist the help of the others. Jolie raced down the stairs and went to Hazel first.

"Hey Hazel!"

"Oh hi!"

They were both silent for a bit, and then Jolie explained the situation. Luckily, Hazel immediately wanted to take action and went to find the others. Jolie went to Annabeth's room and regretted it. She literally took one step into the room, said, "Nope," and went back out again. No wonder there were noises coming from there (if you know, you know:>). 

Half an hour later, the eight that arrived were all out and looking for Stina. Jolie, Sophie, and Dex finally realized they should try looking too, so now all of them plus Keefe were all looking for Stina. They all decided to split up to cover more ground. Sophie had decided to look in the forest. She turned her flashlight toward it, breathed heavily, and started walking.

Sophie was in there for a while, calling out Stina's name and waving her flashlight around. She was only a bit worried. She had grown up here, she'd known the forest her entire life. However, although she would never admit it, she was frightened. Not because of what was in there, but because whatever it was that took Stina, it might take her next, too.

When she had been in there for a few minutes, she heard rustling and pointed her flashlight toward it. There was only foliage.

"Stina? Stina, are you there?" She called out to nothing. Sophie walked a bit toward it and heard more rustling. Sophie called out again. More rustling. She pleaded her feet to stop walking toward it, but it never stopped. When she had eventually came face to face with the bush, she reached out her arm to the bush, and then her flashlight stopped working.

"No, no, no, no no!" Sophie said and started smacking the flashlight. "Work you damn thing!" She yelled. The flashlight ran out of power. Sophie rolled her eyes and started to turn back to the castle to get more batteries. However, something grabbed her arm. She turned towards it, expecting it to be Keefe or even Dex because of how firm the grip was.

But it wasn't Keefe.

It wasn't Dex.

It was coming from the bush.

And its grip was really strong.

(sorry that was short! it seemed like a filler episode but I promise that we'll have more stuff in chapter 4! including more solangelo😉)
