Chapter 10

"Ano yan na ba?" He asked as I was looking at the yarn and tilted my head.

"This is a little bit too dark. Can you find something lighter?" I gave him a pleading smile as he sighed.

"What if gumawa ka ng gantong color tas yung mas light? Make a bouquet, something like that." He suggested as it made me think.

"Right! It could work. Magcro crochet din ako ng bouquet tapos gagawa din ako ng iba pang mga flowers." I smiled as he gave it back.

"How about I'll try azalea too? Tapos mag make tayo tomorrow." I looked at him and he nodded.

"Ano gagawin natin at bakit kasama pa ako?" He asked as I frowned.

"We will make a bouquet of flowers. Magcro crochet ako and then you will be paper folding flowers. So bibili din tayo ng colored papers." I said as he chuckled lightly.

"Sure, Val." He said as I smiled widely.

In the end, hindi lang purple na yarn yung binili namin. We also bought pink, red, green, white, blue, dark purple and yellow. Then we bought colored papers, it was all my money because, well I didn't let Felix bring his money out.

"You're spending a lot of time with Felix these days. Not that I am complaining though." Mommy smiled as I frowned.

"Mom." I said in a warning tone.

"What? I'm just saying." She defensively said as I rolled my eyes.

"I know what's going on in your mind, Mom. Ini issue mona kami sa isipan mo." I said as she laughed.

"Well, it's just that you guys are definitely close, closer than I would have ever thought since you guys just met a few weeks ago." She said and I rolled my eyes.

"Ameline told me about how you guys hated each other at first, now I don't even believe that you guys actually hated each other. You like him na no?" She accused.

"No, of course not." I immediately denied as she laughed.

"Summer, I am your Mom. I know you are already liking the boy. So kapag gusto mo na edi go, saka mo na sabihin sa Dad mo kapag ready ka na. You know naman your Dad is so very strict with societies whatever." She rolled her eyes playfully as I laughed.

I can say that I am much more closer to my Mom than I am with my Dad. My Dad is so strict while my Mom is the opposite. I also spend more time with Mommy since Dad is always at work.

"I'm still sorting it out, Mom." I said as she smiled at me and stood up.

I also stood up to go to my room to take a rest for a bit. I'm exhausted, walking for hours in the mall. It was fun though, almost every time with Felix I had, it was never boring. It's always full of bardagulan as they call and  fun talks. He never even for a bit brought up a boring topic and that what makes him fun.

His vibe and humor, everything about him is like boyfriend material pero nakakainis din minsan. It's fine for me though, if your boyfriend is all perfect and hindi ka iniinis I guess that would be a pretty boring relationship.

"I actually think that's not how it works." I said and Felix looked at me.

"This is how you do it. Ginawa ko na ito noon." He countered as I shrugged and continued doing the lavender na crino crochet ko right now.

I watched a tutorial on YouTube last night and thanks to my memory I still remember how it's done.

"I'll make a paper flower bouquet and you'll make the crocheted ones."  He suggested as I nodded.

"Then we will switch." I added as he smiled.

"So you better make those good because I am making stuff that I never made before. You are going to be the first person too that I am giving crocheted flowers to." I said as he laughed.

"Ikaw din naman unang tao na bibigyan ko ng paper flowers eh. Assorted pa nga tas naka bouquet pa." He said as I rolled my eyes.

"Excuse me pero bouquet din yung igi give ko to you no?" I said as he rolled his eyes playfully.

"Oo na madam." He said as I laughed.

"You know that song "Tingin" yesterday?" I asked and he looked at me.

"What song?" He asked as I scoffed.

"The one that played yesterday sa shop na nagbilhan natin nung materials." I said as he tilted his head.

"Madaming kanta yung naplay kase matagal tayo doon." He said as I huffed.

"Yung tingin nga. The one with:
Di pinapansin, ingay sa tabi
Magulong kapaligiran, sa'yo lang ang tingin." I sang as he nodded out of realization.

"Ah, yun. Bakit?" He asked as I laughed.

"It kinda fits our situation on the time the last chorus played." I laughed as he grinned.

"Ah, ang dami dami naman kaseng tao doon." He said as I nodded.

"I will give a suggestion sakanila. I'll tell them to widen the paths kase it's so narrow, everywhere you go may makaka bump kang person." I pouted as he laughed.

"Sabagay, pero sino nga pala yung kinausap mo kahapon?" He asked as I raised my brows.

"Oh, she's the captain of La Salle. Nakalaban namin last season." I said as he nodded.

"Lalaban ka ulit next season?" He asked as I looked at him weirdly.

"Oo, why? You're going to watch me?" I raised a brow though I know it's impossible kase nandito siya sa province eh ang layo non sa Manila.

"Well..." He trailed and my brows furrowed pero hindi ko nalang minind.

"Whatever, anyways don't you do sports?" I asked as he laughed and shaked his head.

"Nah, may asthma ako. So, di pwede yung masyadong napapagod." He said as I nodded.

"Aw, gusto pa naman kitang ka play ng volley kase you look like you are fit to be my setter." I said as he laughed.

"I can be your setter, pero 30 minutes lang. Hindi naman masyadong malala yung asthma ko eh. It's only applicable pag lagpas ng isang oras yung ginagawa kong nakakapagod." He explained as I nodded.

"Don't wanna risk it though." I said as he laughed.

"Parang kahapon lang na sobrang inis na inis ka sa akin ah?" He asked as I rolled my eyes.

"You know as I said maging thankful ka nalang that I'm being kinder to you na." I said as he chuckled and shaked his head.

After some silly talks we both just focused to what we were doing and honestly, I am kinda proud of myself kase the thing I made was actually pretty even though first time ko gumawa neto.

I was wrapping up my bouquet when Felix showed the paper flower bouquet in front of me.

"Can I court you?"
