I step in the shower, closing my eyes and feeling the water droplets coursing through my hair, falling on my face and running down my body. It's a Saturday but we have school today because school decided to turn into Satan.
Poor Nash, his girlfriend is going to ruin him. Alex kissed Kaitlyn. Wait, where did that come from? Their lips met, they kissed.
Alex kissed Kaitlyn.
Alex kissed Kaitlyn.
I'm going to burn that bitch, wait, I'll burn both of them fucktards. I'll churn them into an 'Alex-Kaitlyn' flavoured human smoothie.
What is happening to me? Since when did I become this violent? Honestly, it was just a dare Cassie.
'Sassy Cassie.' I heared Alex's smirking voice in my head.
Ugh, stop. Just stop with it. What do you want? I'm going to murder my subconsciousness.
Just like you're going to murder Alex and his bitch?
Okay, fuck. I'm going to see him in school today. What if I end up slapping him or something? What if I say something he doesn't need to know? What if -?
There I go again. What if, what if, what if. It's always been like this with me. What if, what if, what if. It's annoying as hell. What if- okay, seriously. You need to stop, I told her silently.
I'm talking to my own brain now. There's no doubt about it anymore: I'm going crazy.

"Cass, love?" Ray says to me when we're sitting in the bus. Alex usually sits with us, but apparently not right now. Instead, he's sitting in the seat right in front of me chatting animatedly with a blonde. Sarah, I think. Sarah Willows. I never liked that girl much.
Huh, whatever. It's not like I care.
"Cassie," Ray states. "Please control yourself, and stop staring at Alex. I won't be surprised if smoke starts coming from your ears."
"I couldn't care less," I say, "he can flirt with anyone he likes."
"Cass. You're going out of your mind."
"I know. Do something."
"And please be quieter, I'm sure he can hear you."
"Oh, shit," I mutter. "Fucking perfect."
"You know, I was thinking about everything you told me last night, and... I don't think it actually matters a lot," Ray says. "Like, you kissed Joseph too, right? Besides, Alex was supposed to kiss Kaitlyn. It wasn't the same with you. You made out with Joseph because you wanted to."
My spirits are lifted quite high for the rest of the day. After Eco class (he didn't sit with me like he usually does, NO REGRETS BITCH), when I was standing outside, just heading to my locker), I greet him with a half-smirk.
"Hey," Alex says. "You look... uh, happy?"
"I don't know," I wink, "I guess it's the weather or something. It's a good day."
"Last night was a good night," he smirks.
"Oh, oh yeah, definitely," I answer, kind of taken-aback. I hadn't thought Alex would mention it at all. "It was fun, yeah. Liam Hemsworth though."
"Especially the Truth or Dare afterward," he says, I can tell he's fucking with me right now. Bitch better know what he's up for.
"Right? As it turns out, Joseph's a total sweetheart."
