The rebirth of planet Resoria Z9

Chapter 23

Rushing in the forest I felt several branches clawing at my face and I grew inpatient. The forest was too thick and I could not see the way out anymore. Frustrerad I stomped slightly on the ground and a large crack formed beneath my feets I tried to look around my surroundings somewhere I could run to but the loud noises from the ground and how it started to sink in front of me and spread closer to me. 

 I didn't want to have my legs crushed from the impact when I would fall into the hole so I jumped without thinking and I started to sprint once again and then quickly realized that my feet weren't on the ground and was too angry to be fascinated by this new found ability. This time I was determined to make use of this flying ability to reach bortums quicker. I noticed how I stayed up in the air longer than I believed I could. I was floating mere meters from the sinking hole. Lucky was not enough to describe how I was feeling. I felt reborn and light weighted. 

Pushing one arm up I started to float higher from the ground and raised my other arm until I was on my stomach. I stayed there for a few minutes imagining his voice and the betrayal. A cold sensation graced my veins and my pulse rose from the anger. Once I allowed my hate to devour me I could hear his voice once again in my head and was distracted by a weird sensation growing in my fingertips. I lifted my arm closer to my face and saw my veins turn to dark purple growing at a fast speed. I was fascinated and turned my head to look at my other arm that was now completely dark purple all the way to my shoulder blade. 

I focused on my pulsing energy and on the direction where the meteor had landed. I knew like the back of my head and started flying towards at inhuman speed. The wind was sharp and my fists were closed. I caught on quickly and adapted to my new abilities. The trees became smaller as I flew higher up and once I was close to the clouds I took a moment to float and look around hoping the androids' destruction would give away their location. 

I dove straight towards the large empty spot where no trees were in sight. I landed swiftly on my feets as I hit the ground with enough force to get their attention. Talus and Ekvtron turned to me and were ready to charge at me but halted in their steps when I started to float. The wind picked at my hair and a tension lingering in the air.

 Talus and Ekvtron were blocking the view of Bortums and every so often I could see his form passing by their silhouettes. I closed our distance and saw that Talus and Ekvtron were covered in full body armor with the darkest shade of blue.They passed over six feet in height but that did not stop me from flying towards Bortums with all my strength. 

I titled my head to Talus, almost feeling the corners of my lips turn when I managed to fly past him but the burning sensation that came from my scalp wiped the smile from my face and I was thrown to the ground and the impact from breaking through the ground knocked the air from my lungs. I tried to catch my breath but the dirt that quickly collapsed on my face made it harder for me to breathe and regain my strength.

 I lifted myself but lost balance when my hands sinked into the dirt and my attempts to kick the crumble parts of the ground off my feets only made more dirt collapse on me. Cold metal hands dug into my legs and before I could react quick enough I was thrown in the air and the sounds of flames erupting from the metal boots grew louder and louder.

 I tensed my muscles trying to stop the speed I was thrown at and regained some of my balance as I floated in the air panting but the speed Ekvtron was flying towards me and the flame that was burning beneath his boots boosted his punch and struck me with an immense force that sent me like a lighting in the ground. I crashed on the ground and heard the sound of ribs breaking and healing as quickly as I landed on a large stone that was under the ground. 

My whole body was engulfed in pain that sent me into a rage. I couldn't let Bortums win and die by the hands of Talus and Ekvtron. I focused on my anger and felt it rush to my veins pass my arms and onto my legs. I lifted my head up ignoring the dirt that collapsed on me and caught a glimpse of my legs that turned to dark purple. Tingling sensation spread across my neck and onto my jaw and I felt an immense power that was replaced with the pain that took over my body.
