Kanna and I looked at Yimika. Their expression was upset and depressed.
"Well... what happened is..."
Yimika started explaining. As they were, they began having flashbacks. Flashbacks of their harsh past.
Little Yimika was hiding in the closet, hearing screams from their mother, as angry and furious shouts came from their father.
"YOU HAD THE AUDACITY TO TALK BACK TO ME?! YOU APOLOGISE NOW!"
"H-Honey, please! C-CALM DOWN! I DIDN'T MEAN TO!"
Little Yimika was crying and sobbing. Their eyes red from tears, as they curled up into a ball, and covering their ears from the screaming. They heard their mother shout something...
"Please, go easy on me and our child, honey! They're only in elementary and you're always out, going to bars whilst i'm at work! She's only 7 and you have the guts to leave her all alone...?!" Their father then screeched.
"I DON'T CARE! THEY'RE GROWN UP! They can deal with themselves..."
SLAM!
"M-Mommy..." Little Yimika sobbed out, as their mother opened the closet and immediately hugged them.
"Hey, hey... it's okay now... mommy's here... just ignore your father. Everything's alright." Little Yimika hugged back as their mother caressed their hair. Little Yimika sobbed out,
"I'm scared... what if daddy hurts you? I don't want you to be hurt..."
"I won't. I promise... we'll figure something out. Okay?"
Their mother heard father immediately.
"Keep hiding here, and don't make a sound. Okay? Please, my baby, stay safe."
"M-Mommy..." Little Yimika kept crying and sobbing. Their school uniform getting wet due to the tears. They kept curling up into a ball whilst sobbing.
