Trust.

For me, gaining my trust isn't very hard. However, once you break my trust, its almost impossible to mend the broken wound. So, when Luke asked me if I trusted him, I don't know if it was loss of sleep causing me to be delirious and not able to control my thoughts, or decipher right from wrong, I said yes- because deep down somewhere, I did trust this gigantic piece of shit named Luke Hemmings. And maybe I shouldn't, maybe me being so naive is going to come back to bite me in the ass, and, if it does, I'll be ready. I mean I've made it this far, right?

When Luke told me about the whole Calum situation, I realized two things. One, Calum is a little fuck boy. And two, what Luke said made sense. I remember when I first discovered Ashton was behind my kidnapping and I was in a warehouse. Calum got "whipped", yet there's not a single scar. Hmmm, suspicious much.

And then there's the thing that happened at the restaurant. Like, who has lunch with someone that beat them 1950s style. Plus, why would he have Michael come and make up some excuse unless he didn't want me to know about it?

Why didn't I realize all the signs before. It took an idiotic giant blond to get me to realize. Wow, naïve much. For a "spy" I sure am blind to obvious clues, if that was even true. But thats why we're here, to get answers.

We approached the old mahogoney door to Claire and Cacie Owens home.
Luckily for us, the one who opened it was Cacie, and not her overhyper sister Claire.

Around everyone else, I feel uncomfortable and uneasy. Around Luke, I don't feel uncomfortable or uneasy. Actually I feel...... I don't know, safe and relaxed, but at the same time on guard. However, being around Cacie and Claire I feel free and comfortable and like myself. I feel like I can trust them. And I pray so hard that I can.

"Alli, what are you doing here again!" She said surprised, but happy at the same time. She looked behind me, well above me because I'm like an ant compared to Luke, "And who's your friend?"

"This is Luke. Luke, Cassie. Cassie, Luke. Now can we move on we have some really important things to discuss." I snapped. I didn't mean to be harsh but time was moving fast and we didn't even have five seconds to waste.

"Yeah, come in." She gestured.

"Clarie isn't here right now, so it's just us three."

"Great the less people the better." I said.

"So, what was it you guys wanted to talk about?" Cassie asked as she took a seat across from us.

I looked on my right side to Luke for a sign that we shouldn't do what we planned on the way here. He just gestured for me to continue, so I did.

Going against everything Ashton told me not to do, I did. I told her everything. And when I say everything, I mean every single detail to the T.

When I finally finished, I took a long deep breath. I felt like a humongous weight had been lifted off my chest.

I was prepared for reaction that never came. Instead, I got something completely different.

"Finally," she laughed. " I've been waiting for you to tell me the truth since you told that lie about coming here for a vaca."

"What?!" Luke and I yelled at the same time. Apparently I wasn't the only one here that was surprised.

"You knew the whole time?" I asked, dumbfounded.

"Well, yeah." She said casually like it was nothing.

Assuming she didn't think I would be in this much shock, she explained. " I think a good spy would be able to tell when somebody was lying to them. Especially when said spy has been friends with other said spy for such a long time."

Well I must be the shittiest spy ever.

"Wait, you're a spy?!"

"Haha yeah, and so are you."

Well I guess now I know Calum wasn't lying about that.

"So, what all do you know?" Luke asked.

"Well Michael has been keeping me updated, although lately he hasn't had anything."

"Is that how you knew where I was?" I asked, thinking back to when I ran away.

"Well kinda, it took us a while to finally find you. It was just a coincidence that you were near our home." She finished.

"So, I'm assuming you guys need a little help?" She smirked.

"Yes. A lot." Luke gazed.

"Well, let's get to work."
