The Quiet One l.h (On Hold) Editing

Chapter 3

Allison's POV

I woke up and my eyes were burning. I figured it was because of all the crying I did last night. I looked at the time on my phone. It was 6:00 am so I thought, well I guess I better get ready for school. I went downstairs to get some orange juice so I could wake up a bit more. I saw Calum asleep on the couch and I assumed he crashed because he had quite a few drinks last night. I look at the couch across from the one Calum was sleeping on but Luke wasn't there. He must've went home. I couldn't believe I cried over a guy who I knew almost nothing about.

"Good morning sleeping beauty." I heard a voice say from up the stairs.

To my surprise it was Luke. My whole mood changed as he came down the stairs. I started blushing at he fact that he called me sleeping beauty and I guessed it was the beauty part that had me blushing the way I was.

I had to cover the humongous smile I had on my face with my hand because standing at the bottom of the staircase was Luke in nothing but his boxers.

"What" he said with a confused look on his face.

It only took a matter of seconds before he realized and he started blushing like crazy.

"I'll be right back." he said running back up the stairs.

In about 5 minutes Luke was back downstairs in a different pair of clothes than what he had on last night.

"What are you doing up so early?" he asked while pouring himself a glass of orange juice and sitting next to me at the dining room table.

"I'm up for school"

He looked at me like he couldn't believe what I had just said.

"School?"

"Yeah, school you know that place you go to to learn stuff" I said nodding my head trying to explain.

" I know what school is, it's just schools been over for almost 2 weeks now"

I felt so stupid.

"I forgot that school lets out faster here than in America." "Now I guess I'll have nothing to do all day"

"Uh Allison, since you have nothing to do... I was wondering if you wanted to go to this carnival thing later?"

"Like a date?" I asked hoping he said yes.

"Yeah, like a date" he responded smiling.

OH MY GOD! LUKE JUST FUCKING ASKED ME ON A DATE!!!! Play it cool Allison, play it cool.

" Sure" I said trying not to show too much excitement.

"Awesome. We can leave at about 3:45 pm, okay?"

"Okay" I said and he left out of the door after telling me to tell Calum he said he'd seem him later.

I had to tell Amanda everything, pick out an outfit, do my hair, everything and I had so little time to do it because it had went from 6:00 am to 12:37 pm. I didn't realize we'd been up that long but time was moving fast and I wasn't wasting a second of it.
