Here's the real chapter 11.

Ps. Incase you didn't notice I changed the characters names. So Madison is now Allison and Emily is now Amanda. Also I won't be doing as many a/n's but I'm sure most of you don't read them anyways.

"Calum, stop!" I screeched.

We are currently at the lake, and Calum's trying to throw me in the water. My family was taking a holiday to California for the summer and we invite Calum to come with us every year.

"Put me down!" I yelled kicking my legs and hitting his back.

"Okay!" he replied and threw me in the water. Then to top it off he jumped on me!

"I hate you so much," I said annoyed.

"Aww I love you too!" he replied in a sarcastic tone, but I smiled and rolled my eyes.

We spent the rest of the day splashing each other, running, screaming, and laughing.

"Mom will you pass me another marshmallow?" I asked.

Calum, my mother, father, and I were sitting around a fire. Along with two girls, Claire and Cacie Owens; the twins. They lived not that far away from where my family's lake house was. They were around Calum and I's age and the four of us were good friends.

"Here you go sweetie." my mom said and handed me the bag of marshmallows.

Calum was playing a song on his acoustic, Claire was staring and drooling over him (she's liked him for a long time), my parents were having a conversation about something I couldn't really hear, but it seemed important, and Cacie and I were eating marshmallows.

"Well we're going to head on up to bed." My father said as both my parents stood up.

"Goodnight you guys," we all replied.

"Goodnight. And don't stay out here too late." my mother said as her and my father started towards the lake house.

We spent the rest of the night laying down and looking at the stars while Calum played some random chords. It was a nice day.

"Hey Allison" my mother knocked on the door to my room.

I was lying on my bed just thinking about anything my mind could conjure up.

"Hi mom!" I said.

She came and sat on the chair next to the bed. We sat in silence for a while, until finally she spoke.

"I want to give you something." She said breaking the silence.

"What do you want to give me?" I asked, my curiosity coming into play.

She reached into her pajama pants pocket and brought out a necklace.

"This is very important and I think you're old enough to take care of it." She spoke.

"Why is it so important?" I ask, confused.

She didn't answer the question but simply placed the object into my hands, stood up from her place, and walked towards the door.

"Allison, take great care of that necklace. Don't wear it, put it in a safe place"

"Why can't I wear it?" she's being really confusing right now.

"Goodnight, Allison" she said and closed the door.

That was weird.

I examined the small gift she gave me. It was just a simple silver necklace with the word promise at the end of it. I put it in one of the pockets of my suitcase and just thought to worry about putting it away when we returned back to Australia.

"Allison, wake up!" Calum said, shaking me awake. "C'mon we just landed and when we get off the plane you can sleep all you want" he continued.

I sat up and looked out of the tiny plane window, the brightness seeming to blind my sleepy eyes. Hopefully my aunt can help me. I didn't drag Calum all the way here just to not get help.

"We're here!" Calum said, as we climbed out of the cab and headed towards my aunts front door.

It's been a while since I've been in California, well at least that's what I remember considering the fact that everything I thought I knew was a lie.

We knocked on the door and my little cousin, Sam Sanders, opened the door. He was a little bit taller than me and he had dark brown hair and eyes.

"Allison?!" he said, not believing it was really me.

"Yup, that's me," I replied. "I need to talk to your mum, like now." I continued. Although I'm ecstatic to see him, I don't really have time to socialize.

"Come in" he said opening the door wider.

I walked into the gigantic house and spotted my aunt Rosemary in the kitchen.

"Oh my god, Allison!" she dropped everything she had and ran up to me.

I could not breathe. My aunt has a tight grip and I can't even tell her. Finally, she released me and I could breathe again.

"What are you doing here? Are your parents with you? Is that Calum? How did you get here? Is something wrong? I-" man does she ask a lot of questions.

"I'm fine....... I think?" Honestly, I'm not sure if I am fine. But that's why I came here, to get help.

Calum, my aunt and I all say down on the brown sofa in her living room. We explained everything not leaving out any details. When we were finished my aunt was left speechless. She didn't know where to begin.

"I'm going to need a minute," she said and went into the kitchen, probably for a drink.

Calum and I looked towards each other, and I could tell he was about to say something but I was way to distracted looking out the open window behind him. In my aunts driveway was a black hummer had just pulled up and the people that got out of the truck is what got me to my feet.

"Calum we need to go now!" I yelled as they walked up the front steps.

"Why?" he asked clearly blind to the situation.

Ding-dong.

"I'll get it," Calum yelled to my aunt. "Calum, no!" I yelled but it was to late. He'd already opened it, and as he did I could see both of our facial expressions fill with complete and udder shock. There stood Luke and Ashton.

"Hello, sweetheart."
