Chapter 4

"Bro my ass is freezing in this dress, where is this uber guy?" I declare now being a little annoyed, we've been standing here for 5 minutes but I like to be dramatic.

"He's just around the corner" As Emi says this, the car finally shows up.

We enter the car, the warmth hitting me giving me goosebumps, Emi tells the driver our location and I freeze.

"Isn't that a gay night club?"

"Yes it is, best in town" Emi turns around slightly and winks at me from the passenger seat.

"Is this your way of coming out to me?" I chuckle as the car starts moving.

Emi doesn't reply to my comment which I just brush off and the rest of the car ride is silent until we finally arrive at our destination.

We thank our driver and get out of the vehicle.

"Is this is?" I say to Emi looking at the club in front of us, no music and there are about 5 people sitting outside.

"Don't worry, the party starts later, now they're serving food and all that stuff, the DJ isn't even here yet" she reassures me grabbing my hand to walk in.

"You're telling me I could have had more time to do make-up? but you rushed me because 'Omg Jen we're going to be late!' "I say as we enter inside.

The first thing i see are multiple dance floors, party music playing quietly somewhere in the background, there are more people inside than outside which relieved me slightly, more people meant more people to drunk kiss later, I thought to myself.

I feel Emi's arm wrap around my shoulder pulling me towards the counter "2 Strawberry cocktail's please" Emi tell's the bartender.

"Ow wow look at you buying me a drink" I say in a fancy tone and she chuckles lightly.

"Shut up before I down both of them" Emi adds.

I grab my cocktail as Emi does the same and we find the perfect table to sit at tonight.

We decided to sit in a corner like losers but I didn't mind, it seemed quite cosy in here.

30 minutes later and 4 Strawberry cocktails later the party starts to begin, there's twice the amount of people than there was and the DJ is getting set up on the main stage of the club.

Me being a lightweight, I start feeling the alcohol already and Emi on the other hand decided to be sensible and have only 2 cocktails tonight as she said 'I'll allow you to have fun tonight, I'll take care of us' or something like that, I don't know I'm already tipsy.

"Alright, take a break girl we only just got here" Emi says as I get up to grab another drink, but then sit back down and laugh, I don't know what's so funny but I'm just going along with whatever it is.

Finally the DJ for tonight announces that the party will start in a few minutes, the countdown shows up on the screen showing '5 minutes'.

Me being an idiot, I shout out a loud 'WOOOO!' Probably being the only one who just cheered for him, usually I would get embarrassed and just leave immediately but I didn't care this time, I look to my left where Emi is seated, her hand covering her eyes in embarrassment for me.

"Girl, sit back down" Emi says pulling me down to my seat while giggling at how much I'm embarrassing myself already.

I think it's midnight, maybe, my vision is now blurry and everything is spinning, I feel like I'm floating rather than walking, it feels amazing.

The whole place is crowded, people making out on my left and right Emi is always beside me following me everywhere to make sure I don't make any dumb decisions tonight... no promises
