The brunette sighed with relief as he looked at the time and saw it was finally time to go home. His chest twinged as he thought about what had happened at lunch. He was jealous seeing Marley look at someone with his bright beam; maybe he was even jealous that they looked so good together, Marley and Amara. Alexander took a deep breath and he slowly stood up to collect his things.

Marley sauntered to Alexander's desk and he smiled warmly as he waited for him to be ready to leave. "Hey, Xander."

Alexander threw his bag over his shoulder and he saw his boyfriend's big grin as he looked at him. That man never ceased to make Alexander's stomach flutter — not once. "Hey."

"Let's go home," Marley's face still blushed at the thought of what once was his house, to now be their home.

Marley flopped onto the couch in the living room as soon as they got home with his head laid back on the cushions. His hair was in a messy bun, but it was even messier now when he had moved his head around on the couch. The brunette hung his bag up before strolling towards his lover, and he stood directly above where Marley's had was lying back. He noticed how tangled Marley's red hair looked, so he slowly untied it and smoothed out his hair by running his soft hands through it. Finally, he placed it in a shape of a bun and wrapped the hair tie around it until it was secure. Alexander didn't speak a word as he did this. He didn't know what to say after today — after his unpredictable emotions got the better of him. Alexander moved his left hand to Marley's face who was watching him do all of this, and he softly caressed his cheek. His brown eyes looked softly at his partner, but they also had a slight concerned expression for he felt the guilt from before. So, he let his fingertips leave Marley's pale skin before he walked to the bathroom where he was getting ready for a shower.

The blue-eyed man's cheeks blushed at the speechless action. He saw Alexander walk away without saying a word and his smile turned into a frown. The worry in the brunette's eyes was something more than Marley's hair just being a bit untidy and Marley knew that. Whenever he saw that look on Alexander's face, he just wanted to wrap him in a tight hug and never let him go. The red-haired man's chest felt heavy just trying to think what was going through his lover's head — and he wish he knew.

Alexander attempted to wash away his worries down the drain, but unfortunately his chest still felt heavy after his shower. His eyes drooped and he didn't want to do anything after he had gotten dressed. So, he got into the neatly made bed and lay facing Marley's side. His eyes almost instantly fell asleep when he got into that lovely bed. The smell of Marley roamed the room, which made it easier for him to get some rest.

"Xander!" Marley called from the couch, wondering if he had finished his shower. "Xander? What's taking you so long?" Marley frowned as he got no response. He stood up and swiftly opened the bathroom door but his boyfriend wasn't inside. Marley's eyes darted around the room as he tried to think, but before panicking, he walked through to his bedroom which also had a door to the bathroom. He stopped in his tracks as he saw Alexander lay peacefully asleep on their bed. He saw Alexander's soft expression as he breathed slowly up and down.

Marley walked to the bed and sat on the edge of it next to Alexander. "Alexander..." the golden-haired man looked at him softly but also with a large percentage of worry. He brought his right hand up to Alexander's cheek as he caressed it gently, "I wish you would talk to me," Marley said with a bit of pain in his voice, "I love you so much."

The golden-haired man looked at the time and saw it was six thirty. Marley wasn't as good of a cook as Alexander, but he knew it was his time to cook them something for dinner, so he reluctantly got up and started preparing it

Tossing and turning in bed, Alexander's eyes shot open and he smelt something delicious coming from the kitchen. He rubbed his tired eyes before he got up to see what was happening. In fact, Marley was just serving it up as Alexander tiredly strolled in. "Good morning, Alexander," Marley joked. He placed two plates of food on the table and pulled a chair out for his lover to sit on with a grin plastered on his face as usual. "Here you go."

The brunette sat down at the pulled out chair with a reddened face. The dinner consisted of the following: roasted potatoes, a salad and roast chicken. Alexander looked astonished as he saw the spectacular meal in front of him. "Y-You made this?"

His lover sat down next to Alexander with a grin on his face, "Yeah, I even surprised myself."

The brown-eyed man picked up a fork and began to eat the meal. His eyes widened at the taste, wondering how Marley accomplished this. "It's really good."

Marley tried it himself too and he nodded in agreement, "You're right. This is surprisingly good for me." They both continued eating but the golden-haired man had something weighing on his mind, "Xander...is there something that's been on your mind today?"

The brown-eyed man felt the darkness clutch his stomach as he tried fumbling a stupid excuse, "N-No why's that?"

Marley stared at the potato that he had stuck on the end of his fork, "I...I don't know, I just know you're not usually like this."

"I'm just jet-lagged," I lied as I stared at my almost empty plate. I stood up and put the dish away before going back to sleep on the bed. "Thanks for dinner. I'm going to bed," Alexander turned his back to Marley not wanting to see his disappointed face. He let out a sigh as he walked into the bedroom and got under the covers.

The red-haired man stared at Alexander until he walked into their bedroom. His heart physically hurt for he knew there was something bothering him — and Marley only wish he would tell him. He got up from his chair to put his dishes away, and then he had a shower and changed into something more comfortable.

On the bed, Marley saw his boyfriend toss and turn, struggling to sleep. So, he hoped into bed beside Alexander and he slowly wrapped his arms around his waist as he stared at his back that was facing him. His hands were on Alexander's chest, now holding both of his lover's hands. "I'm right here, Alexander..." Marley whispered into Alexander's ear, "I'm here."

The brunette's eyes opened at his boyfriend's touch, and he felt his ears warm up at the soft breath that had just hit them. He squeezed his eyes shut again, now feeling at ease. His worries slipped away for that moment as Marley held him close while they fell asleep. Alexander held onto Marley's hands tighter without realising, but it put a gentle smile on the red-haired man's face knowing his boyfriend acknowledged his touch.
