Y/n POV

Well today is the day, its court day. I'm not prepared for this at all, hell i didn't even finish packing my things. I've got only got my clothes packed away, my posters and pictures of my favorite rap artist, metal and rock band poster put away nicely so they're not damaged. All I have to undo is my bed, the frame, and then pack up small accessories.

Hey Jamie🤍 im feeling really scared tbh😭idk how to feel about this whole court thing and on top of that today is the day to see who im gonna be staying with until im 18 or im old enough to move out 😕

I have about 2 hours to get dressed which wont take me long at all. I took my time taking a shower, i let the warm water hit my back to control my emotions and to gather myself. After my shower i threw on my black ripped jeans, a white and red tie dyed ACDC shirt with my black and white high top converse. I let my hair down letting my curls set in with the products and let it air dry. I had an hour to spare so I decided to take a small nap on my beanbag while time flies.

Jamies POV
"Hijo todo va a estar bien, por favor siéntate y relàjate"( Son everything is gonna be okay, please sit down and relax ) my mom says to me with comfort.
" Mama i cant im really worried for her she said she'll call me in about an hour and its been almost two."
" Okay well come here and eat it's almost lunch." I went into the kitchen and sat down and ate some enchiladas with rice on the side. I couldn't stop thinking about y/n, she means so much to me she deserves happiness and peace. The thought about y/n gone made me tear up luckily my family wasn't around, a tear fell from my eye and i quickly wiped it. I finished my food and went back into my room to watch Markiplier to kill sometime. I heard my phone rang " Hey y/n how's everything going?"
" I'm moving to California Jamie." She sobbed, " im sorry jamie im so sorry i couldn't do anything. Dad made more money than mom because her income isn't enough to take of me and that made the judge made the decision to go with dad. And I don't wanna leave with dad on Friday Jamie I cant i just can't im not ready to leave i can't leave you Jamie," she sobbed and sobbed it even made me cry.
" Y/n im so sorry " my eyes filled with tears and my voice cracked, " its gonna be okay i promise its gonna hurt for a while i know but remember this okay. I love you y/n you are my best friend for life no matter what. No matter how far we are no matter the distance you'll always be my best friend nobody can ever replace you okay. I'm always there with you by heart, dont  let those beautiful eyes be cold." Holy shit i can't believe she's going to be leaving with her dad, im gonna miss her so much im gonna miss everything about her and everything that we've done.
" Thank you Jamie, thank you thank you thank you so much. You're so amazing to be my best friend."
" I'm always here you okay? We'll see each other again soon i promise."

* Y/n POV *

Everything is loaded into the U-haul truck, Jamie got me a small teddy bear with our picture on the shirt. " Im gonna miss you y/n. " My mom says pushing the strands of my hair behind my ears.
" Im gonna miss you more ma, take care okay? I'll be home soon."
" You be careful out there, and be safe too I know its gonna be tough but momma is always there with you by heart." I smiled with tears filling my eyes, " I love you y/n take care of yourself please."
I hugged her, " I promise you mom I love you the most."
I let her go and made my way to Jamie, he stood there leaning against the truck. " So this is it isn't it short stack?"
" It's just the mean time until I'm old enough to move out, just think of it like we're on vacation ... but for a long time." We laughed a bit ," c'mere Jamie." I pulled him in for a long hug, my arms around his neck and his arms around my body.
" Take care y/n please. I can't lose my best friend in the entire world. Besides you still owe me a game in minecraft."
" Ohhh you're so on," I chuckled " dont worry i'll be okay time will fly by next thing you know were already done with school and who knows what's gonna happen. But I do know i'll be coming home."
He sighed, " just promise me you'll be safe okay because i know your dad is not the best person we both wanna be around."
" I promise Jamie."
We gave our last hug before I had to, im gonna miss Jamie so much. His hugs, smiles, jokes, his smell, his fuzzy adorable hair, his big beautiful brown eyes. God I hope time does really fly by. I dont wanna be in Cali for my entire life, especially with my father who doesn't deserve to even be or called a father.

* Jamies POV *

And shes gone, as I watched the truck drives off down the neighborhood. My heart shattered into millions and millions of pieces, I walked into my room and shut my door and sat in my chair. Having no idea what am I gonna do, hopefully i'll get to see y/n again .... shit dude this is gonna suck ass for a while not being able to see my best friend until she comes back to Texas. What if she doesn't wanna come back home again, what if she gets used to the life style in Cali. I mean it's California its where all the cool famous people are at, she'll probably end up forgetting about me because of the distance. She'll most likely find someone there and end up staying there for life. So many thoughts ran through my heart making me hurt even more i felt tears fall and on to my hand. Then my phone was vibrating hoping it'll be y/n already.
" Hello " I said flatly.
" Damn dude you sound like shit, everything okay man?" Max said. My other close friend of mines we've met online playing R6S ( Rainbow Six Siege )
" Nah dude my best friend and well my crush y/n just left for cali and her dad which I extremely hate is with her, and dude I don't know if i'm gonna be seeing her again. Like bro she's so amazing like you have no idea and im gonna miss her max I just - "
" Hey bro relax, okay. It's gonna be alright yeah it sucks that shes gone but don't forget you're gonna still be able to see her on FaceTime its not the best but something is better than nothing. Besides time is gonna fly by next thing you hear is her coming back to Texas, i know it's ruff but trust me it'll be okay. Just take some deep breaths and relax and do something that'll kill time."
" Thanks bro i really appreciate that a lot, I'm just really stressed out right now. "
" Dude you're fine don't worry about it, i'll leave you alone for a while or not unless you down for some R6S?"
" I'm down with that tell the boys to get on."
" Right on brother." Max ended the call.
