Hello traveler.
Through some matter of luck or chance, you have landed on our shores.
Be wary, however, for this isle is just as malignant as it is magnificent, and as insidious as it is illuminating.
There is no sun/moon cycle here. They share the sky at all times. The moon, beautiful and shaded, the hue of lavender blooms, juxtaposed by a firey red sun.
You may want to gaze up in awe, but I strongly recommend you refrain, lest you become like Narccicus, wasting away, unable to remove your skyward gaze.
There are a few...beings that roam freely here. Some of them simply want to observe. Some will hide.
Some are hungry.
The green tinted, man-like being with the long mane of leaves is mostly benign. However, he is easily offended.
Respect the land and its life, or he will water it with your blood.
The Horned One is not of such a gentle nature. It will attack unprovoked, devouring you piece by piece.
The only escape is climbing up a tree, and hoping he doesn't catch your scent.
Do not drink the water from anywhere other than the waterfalls at the center of island. If you do, you will be frozen forever as a Stone Guardian.
You will see several stone statues of travelers that drank from the poisoned waters of this isle.
They are the testament of disobedience.
There are only two edible plants here. One are the bushes with the black berries. They smell of rotting flesh but have an indescribably wonderful taste.
The second plant is a orange hued leafy sphere resembling an orange. It has no scent. It tastes like dragonfruit.
Eating any other plant will result in spontaneous combustion.
You may come across caves while wandering. Announce yourself before entering. If there is no echo, do not enter.
You will not make it out.
The ones that enter the silent cave have an unknown fate as they seem to disappear entirely.
These are the only things I know for sure to help a fellow traveler of the seas.
Enjoy your stay here, be it for a fortnight, or for an eternity.
