He took to the augments well and nothing seemed wrong yet he kept his ability to care and be compassionate, when this was found out he was going to be killed and his gene seed reused due to the chapter needing marines that wanted to kill and not heal but since he showed signs of incredible medical and medicational knowledge, he was taken and trained as Apothecary. Once training was complete, he was sent to the 9th company where he quickly formed a close bond with Redios, the two of them sharing the same care for humanity, albeit to varying degrees.

He quickly become a neophyte then a full blown battle brother yet a flaw in his augmentation made him unnaturally angry and blood thirsty, instead of culling him, the chapter master made him under go terminator training because his blood lust may prove useful if tamed and used effectively. The young astartes excelled in the role and was transferred to the 9th company with the other rejects. He formed a bond with Redios due to him
