As Lian walked to kuea's room, it was locked, he knocked it twice but no response, he was about to knock again but then a voice was heard,

"I told you I don't want to eat , I am not hungry so please leave me alone." Kuea shouted from the room .

Lian sighed and he decided to open the door from the spare key he has , ofcourse Lian is very concerned about kuea's protection, he cannot risk his responsibility, he was prepared from the start because he knew kuea is so mischievous and he could do something like that , he directly open the door which made kuea startled ,

"How did you opened the door ? " Kuea asked his eyes being doe , he was sitting on the bed , his nose was clearly red .
Lian ignored the question but kuea noticed the key in his hand, but then he put it inside his pocket.

"Why are you not coming downstairs? " He asked in stern and cold manner.

"I don't want to , leave me alone." He said and dug his head in the fluffy pillow as he was about to cry .

Lian noticed his parents picture lying on his bed , he knows it .

Lian's pov ( from the start ) :
When I heard Mrs.May's response I was really amazed because someone like kuea can skip meals? I don't think so because I remember his father once told me kuea loves to eat , he is a foodie, but him skipping meals it is not acceptable.
So I decided to cheak on him , as I walked there , I knocked at the locked door but no response,I let out a sigh because I had no choice but to use the spare key I prepared, I directly came inside and saw kuea sitting on bed when he heard me , his hair were a mess and his nose was red , somehow he looked cute with a red nose , he asked me how I came inside but I was not in the mood of explaining anything so I just ignored it and asked him why he wasn't coming downstairs ,
As I questioned him his face was like he will cry right now he replied that he wanted to be alone,
A person seeks out loneliness and try to detach themselves when they are sad or sulking as much as I know.
I saw his parents frame on bed beside him and I knew it ,
He was crying because he missed his parents, back then Mrs. Yiwa also informed me about him crying alone all night , I know it was hard for him , a 18 year old lost his parents, he lost his family in a young age leaving him all alone.
I never wanted to show affection, somehow I just don't like it , I never did console anyone before nor cared , not even tried.
So I just tried to talk gently.

" Kuea ?" I called his name as I heard his soft low sob , it was so low that he would think I didn't heard it .
I came closer to the bed and I didn't had any clue what to do next , how could I stop him from crying?

"I know it's hard for you, but we can't ruin the future because of our past ."
I said with concern and calm .

Kuea didn't replied to me , I heard his sobs again , he must be feeling storm inside his heart,  I felt my heart ache when I saw him breaking, but why I am feeling the pain too ? I just thought he really needed time, so I left his room .
I told Mrs. May to bring food to his room and comfort him.
I was feeling so worried about him , it was a another kind of anxiousness that I was feeling, but why tough? I could not understand myself.

As Lian was sitting on the couch, he saw Mrs . May coming downstairs, Lian quickly questioned her about kuea.

"Is he alright now ? " He said and she was smiling.

"Yes , he is all good now, and he finished his food too ." She said letting out a little chuckle and Lian was relieved.
