"Alright class," the chemistry teacher started, "We're going to have a group project and its due in 2 weeks." Everyone groaned, except for Jay. Jay knew that even if everyone would also try to get Sunghoon as their partner, he had a better chance. He was becoming super hopeful when..."Oh, and I'll choose your partners. I'm doing duos." Pain. The teacher choosing the partners now made Jay's chances low, but having duos and not trios or squads DEFINITELY lowered his chances even more. He sighed in defeat, along with everyone else in the classroom. As the teacher started calling out the pairs, right when he said Sunghoon, everybody perked their ears up and hoped the same thing; please choose me, please choose me. Jay had already lost all hope, but then, the chemistry teacher proved to be a savior in the end. Jay was chosen as Sunghoon's partner. Jay was so excited, he hadn't realized all the glares he was getting, especially when the Sunghoon even looked back to look at him, with a smile that made Jay fall in love with him once more. After all the pairs had been called, Jay quickly got all his stuff and moved next to Sunghoon. "Hey Sunghoon!" "Hey hyung." Jay widened his eyes and giggled. "Please drop the honorifics, I'm not even a full year older than you and we're in the same grade." "Oh, ok then. Anyways, class is gonna end soon soooo, how about you give me your number and I'll call you to tell you when to come to my house to start on the assignment. But only if you ca-" Jay was quick to accept. "SURE! I mean...! Sure!" Sunghoon laughed and exchanged numbers with him. "How about...4? And then we can get dinner together too!" To say Jay was delighted is an understatement. He nodded his head quickly in agreement as he smiled widely like an idiot. The bell soon rang and everyone left. Jay left to quickly fill in his bffs about what just happened.

"Heeseung! You won't believe this, but Sunghoon is my partner! And it was the teacher who chose them! We really are soul-" He got cut off when a finger was placed onto his lips. "Bro, I swear to God, if you only talk about your lover, I am not joking, I will seriously go up to him and tell him you like him just to shut you tf up." Jay was quick to shut his mouth. "Oh come on Heeseung, don't be like that. Let him go on." Jake giggled. "O-oh yeah, hehe, um sorry Jay, yeah- wait, actually- no- I gotta go um assignment needs help with Jungwon- I mean- uh- OK BYE!!" Jake just stood there absolutely confused while Jay told himself to help Heeseung talk to Jake in the future. The boys then decided to just talk until their break ended.

"Sunghoon hyung!" It was Sunoo. "How was chemistry?" Sunoo grinned mischievously. "Umm, it was alright. We got assigned a project and the teacher chose our partners. I got Jay." Sunghoon said with a normal face. "WHAT." Niki came out of nowhere and planted a kiss on Sunoo's cheek. "Bro! You can finally make a move on him!" "Uh, I'm good, thanks. I know he doesn't like me like that. He's the only genuine person that wants to be my friend other than you guys, and I don't want to risk losing him if I asked him out. He might think I'm disgusting or something." Sunki sighed. They knew Sunghoon was always an overthinker, but sometimes, it really pissed them off. "Look, just try to talk to him more. I guarantee he likes you. And even if he doesn't, well, he just does, ok? Now go get yo mans!" Sunki lightly shoved Sunghoon away while giggling and scrambled away. Sunghoon sighed. At least I get to meet Jay today. Sunghoon didn't realize he smiled and dozed off while walking, where he ended up running into Jay. "Omg! I'm so sorry! I-" Sunghoon saw he bumped into Jay and then looked down from embarrassment.
Jay immediately felt bad and quickly reassured him. " Hey it's ok! You didn't mean to. In fact, I actually was about to come find you to talk about the project." But before Sunghoon could respond, the bell rang. Jay then pointed to his phone to let Sunghoon know he'll just text him. That made Sunghoon happy again and he joyfully skipped to his next class. Sunghoon started becoming impatient. I can't wait until school's over! I hope Jay doesn't think I'm weird!

And since Sunghoon is Sunghoon, he spent FOREVER just picking an outfit to wear. Talk about trying be casual...lol
