9. You and Me Forever

Running away from things has always been the easiest thing to do and that is what Viraj was doing.

Currently he was busy in packing his stuff and so was Kavya, today in the early morning Viraj received an important call from his office asking him to come back immediately and that is why both of them mutually decided to head back to Goa.

Unknown to Kavya, the call which Viraj had received was all a lie, it was nothing but a story made up by him because Viraj knew that he had a short amount of time to handle things and somewhere his instincts knew that Kavya's aunt would not remain silent for long.

Before she reveals the truth to Kavya he himself decided to run away from the situation.

"Are you done with your packing?" Viraj questioned to Kavya who was standing adjacent to her bedside.

Kavya looked back at him and with a smile, nodded her head.

"I wanna say something." Kavya mumbled.

"I am listening." Viraj gave her an indication to continue while standing besides her.

"When I came here in Mumbai few days back I was disappointed in myself that I had lied to you and came here without your permission however I was astonished and taken aback when I saw you in the later half of that day standing at my door. Your little actions showing your concern and affection have always fascinated me but that day again you took my breath away. It might be a small thing for a third person but for me it was another step of loyalty and commitment towards me.

Like all the other couples we also in our marriage have had certain disagreements, arguments with each other but at the end of the day we always stick around. Whenever I would feel lonely or scared, just a single thought about you used to make me calm. I was always able to pull through all my vulnerability and hardships because you were there for me.

It's because of you that I was able to move on.

Never before have I met someone who made me feel so beautiful just by glancing at me. When I look into your eyes, I can feel your love for me. I can feel the spark and the warmth radiating from you. You have been that support system for me who was always there for me without letting me know.

I don't know if you are sure about your feelings or not but I can't hold this strong emotion anymore to myself.

You have loved me in good and in difficult times. You have been my pillar of strength in this roller coaster of life. You stayed by me through my low phase when I lost my parents and you never left me alone for a single second. I used to get nightmares of the memories which I don't even remember but you never judged me. Instead you embraced me into your loving arms and showered me with your care and unconditional love that it made me cry and feel like the luckiest woman on Earth and that is why Viraj, I kavya Grover would want to spend my entire life you ---loving you."

Kavya confessed with a bright smile on her face, her eyes were a little teary and with an excited glee she was waiting for Viraj's response but to her extreme disappointment Viraj had nothing to say.

Kavya felt like screaming and crying because since so long she thought that her husband also loves her unconditionally, but probably she has misinterpreted his actions as love.

Kavya tried her best to form some words out of her mouth but all she could do was to control her sobs.

"I--I am really-- so-rr--y." Kavya hiccuped stuttering badly.

"I thought that probably you also--you--" Kavya mumbled but failed to continue further. She kept her head down and moved aside from Viraj, she took long steps and was about to leave the room when she felt a strong pull from behind.
