Chapter 5

No Ones P.O.V.

Glenn and Autumn worked their way into the tombs, combing through them for walkers. Autumn looks at him, trying to figure out why he wanted to take her instead of someone he knows. A moan came from around the corner, indicating the in coming walker attack. Glenn swiftly moved in front, knife poised and ready to attack the onslaught of walkers, while Autumn glared at the back of his head for treating her like she couldn't kill anything. She stood ready, baseball bat ready to attack. A walker rounded the corner and Glenn easily put him down. Autumn walked to the corner from where the walker came from.
"Glenn run!" She screeched, running the way they came. Glenn took one look at the herd and followed after her. A wall came upon the horizon line. A dead end. With no where to run, they were doomed.
"A cell! A cell!" Autumn screamed behind her and quickly slid across the hall and into an empty cell.
"Hurry, hurry!"
She closed the door and Glenn slipped inside.
"It won't close!" Glenn yelled
"Push!" She grunted.
She grabbed Glenn's knife and started stabbing through the bars. She quickly ran and pushed the bunk bed in front of the door.
"Glenn watch out!"
He leapt back and she pushed it against the wall. They flipped the mattress over the bars, hoping that that would slow them down.
"Help!" Autumn screamed at the top of her lungs, hoping someone would hear it. Glenn shot a zombie that was reaching it's hand through the bars at the edge of the bunk. Autumn was trying to pry the bars over the windows open, but it was no use.
"Glenn, I'm sorry."
"For what, you didn't do anything."
"I picked the wrong cell."
"We didn't have the keys anyway. It won't lock."
"But it would have at least closed."
Glenn grabbed her hand.
"Look at me."
She looked at him with tears in her eyes.
"We are going to be okay. It will be fast, I promise." she nodded quickly, tears cascading down her cheeks. he squeezed her hand in reassurance. This girl was nothing like the one he had met yesterday. This one had shed her tough shell as they shared her final moment. The bunk bed tipped and then crashed to the floor, nearly hitting them as they stood with their backs to the wall. The walkers poured in like water from a tipped over glass. Glenn and Autumn shot them with his gun, not caring about the fact that they were doomed. Autumn tossed hers aside once she ran out of bullets and used her baseball bat. The same sickening crack was repeatedly heard as she bashed skulls. Glenn's gun was tossed aside like a used napkin as he too switched to his other weapon, a knife. Unfortunately the knife lodged it's self in a skull, and Glenn was unable to pull it out in time, before the walkers got him.
"Glenn no!" Autumn screamed.
The toilet exploded. The walkers washed away with an insane amount of water. Glenn lay on the floor, barley breathing, covered in walker bites. Autumn rushed to his side. Glenn turned to look at her, and handed her his knife, which she took. His hand dropped back to the floor.
"Glenn-"
"End it."He said in a quiet voice
She nodded.
"Tell Maggie-I-I-I-lo-lov-love her." he wheezed out.
Autumn laughed and held up her hand which was covered in water.
"You're going to be fine Glenn. A friend of yours wants to say hi."

A cloud of bubbles formed next to her.

"Oh my god," he said, eyes wide and mouth open before passing out in a pile of blood and water.
