"Myaaah!" screamed the chubby ghost as he float back a little from the scorching fire that was thrown at him.
"Haaahhh! We gotta get out of here! Before we get disappeared for good!" All three of the ghosts drifted off into the walls before vanishing from [Y/n] and Grim's sight.
"H-huh? Did we... win?" Grim asked timidly.
Walking to the end of the hallway, [Y/n] was able to get what she needed. From the buckets that were knocked down on the floor, she bent down and picked the one that had the least damage. She stood up before she looked down at Grim. "I suppose I should thank you for the help then."
"Aw, geez, I was scared outta my-
I mean, they didn't faze me one bit!
Just a walk in the park for a mage of my caliber! Whaddaya got to say now, ghosties? That's right!" Grim hollered, doing his own small victory dance. Amused, [Y/n] smiled faintly as she recalled how he was literally shaking like a leaf earlier. Before she could walk back to the lounge, she was interrupted by the arrival of the headmage."Good evening. In another gesture of my immense kindness, I have brought you dinner." Crowley came in with a cellophane full of food, but he stops in his tracks almost immediately when he sees Grim. "Wait. That's the creature we ejected for causing trouble at orientation! What is it doing here?!"
"Existing obviously."
Grim huffed out, crossing his arms as he deadpanned at Crowley. "Takin' care of yer ghost problem, that's what. You're welcome, by the way!"
Crowley turned to look at the girl with an expression of uncertainty, "What is the meaning of this, [Y/n]? But you know, on that topic, I do seem to recall that this dorm had a mischievous ghost problem." She glanced at him with a look of dismay. "And you thought it would be a good idea for me to live here?"
Crowley chuckled nervously, looking anywhere but her tired eyes. "I was only reminded of that fact right now."
"You-!" Taking a deep breath, she tried her best to not let her temper get the best of her. "Happy thoughts, happy thoughts..."
"A-anyways, you're saying that you two joined forces to drive them away?" Crowley asked timidly.
""Joined forces" ain't exactly how I'd describe it. More like I drove 'em away, and the human watched. And I only did it 'cause I wanted some tuna." said Grim before realizing something. "Hey... Wait a minute! I never got those cans of tuna ya promised!"
"Well that would have to wait Grim." she sassed.
"Would you two be so kind as to demonstrate your ghost-eradication methods for me?" asked Crowley.
But, Grim wasn't having it. "One, no, 'cause I already wiped 'em all out. And two, no, 'cause where's my tuna?!"
"Forget about the tuna Grim. And Crowley? I don't have the energy to play this game of yours." said [Y/n], only for Crowley to smile in a way she does not like.
"I will play the part of the ghosts.
As for the tuna, you'll receive it when you defeat me. Oh, what generosity, Crowley..." His hand reached under his coat and pulled out a vial containing some weird liquid inside. "Now, to chug this transmutation potion!" Crowley popped the cork off the vial before tilting his head back a little and draining it from its contents.
