In the hustle and bustle of life, there are moments when we find ourselves pausing, reflecting, and dreaming about the future. We envision ourselves achieving our goals, standing on the podium of success, and being a source of pride for our loved ones. As I look ahead, two or three years from now, I see myself in a position where I am able to express my gratitude and love for my parents in a way that they truly deserve.
In my vision, I see myself walking up to my two grandmother, a smile on my face, telling, "Ma/La, where are our bills? I'll take care of them." I imagine the surprise and relief on their faces, the joy in their eyes. I see myself lifting the burden off their shoulders, taking on the responsibility that they carried for years. I see myself providing with the comfort they have provided me with all these years.
In this future, I also see myself telling my mother, "Ma, let's go out. It's my treat." I can already feel the pride swelling in my heart as I imagine her response, the happiness that would light up her face. It's not just about the money, but the gesture - the ability to give back to her, to share with her, to treat her.
I also envision myself asking my father, "Pa, what do you want? I'll buy it for you." This simple question, which I've heard him ask me countless times, will be my way of showing him that his desires matter, that he is important. I want to give him the joy of receiving, the joy that he has given me all my life.
In this dream of the future, I see myself telling them "Let's go on a trip. I'll take care of everything." I want to give them the gift of experiences, of memories, of moments that we can cherish together. I want to give them the chance to explore, to relax, to enjoy life without any worries.
This vision of the future is not just a dream, but a promise - a promise to my parents that I will work hard to make this vision a reality. I believe this is what they deserve - a life of comfort, of joy, of love. They have given me so much, and it's time for me to give back.
This is more than just about paying bills, buying gifts, or going on trips. It's about showing appreciation, expressing love, and acknowledging the sacrifices they've made. It's about giving them the life they've given me, the life they deserve.
As I look forward to this future, I am filled with determination and hope. I am ready to work hard, to strive for success, and to make my parents proud. Because in the end, that's what matters most - the happiness and pride of our loved ones. And that's what I am working towards, two or three years from now.
