"I miss the old me!"
No, you don't.
You miss your carefree days. You didn't have to worry about bills, deadlines, or responsibilities. You could spend hours playing video games or binge-watching your favorite TV shows without a care in the world.
You miss the little things; like how a simple compliment from a friend could make your day. Or how a walk in the park could clear your mind and make you feel alive.
You miss your old friends because they knew you before you became the person you are today. They knew your quirks, your passions, and your dreams. They accepted you for who you were, flaws and all.
You miss the feeling of being young and invincible. You felt like you could conquer the world and nothing could stop you.
It's not the "old you" that you miss.
It's the old days.
Because now, you have to worry about your career, your finances, and your future. Asimple compliment doesn't mean as much as it used to. You and your old friends have grown apart and you don't have as much in common anymore. You feel the weight of the world on your shoulders and sometimes it feels like you're drowning.
And that's okay because you just... grow.
You learn from your mistakes, you gain new experiences, and you become a better version of yourself. The old you may be gone, but the new you is stronger, wiser, and more resilient.
