If this response continues I am ending this book in the next two to three chapters! I had more chapters planned but the response is so disheartening that it literally is enough to demotivate me! Nandini's POV
We left around 7 and reached Murthy's Home! When we entered the house Maa was sitting in the living room! I ran towards her and hugged her tight! She started crying after seeing me! Oh my emotional Mata Shri yes that is what I call her when I am goofy!
"Mata Shri stop crying please" I say to her
"You are so bad! First you abandon me now you come and call me names! Betu tu thik hai na?" She asks me
"Perfect I am" I answer wiping her tears
"Beautiful is she making you cry?" I heard Manik ask Maa
"Yes she is handsome! This girl is making me cry" I heard maa reply to him and my jaw dropped
"Maa since when did you join his team! You are suppose to be on my team!" I cribbed
"When you were on your detox mood he used talk to me daily! So I have changed my team betu" Maa answered back and I didn't know how to react! I was shocked could have been an understatement! I Love Manik and I don't care I don't care if he confesses back or not he deserves to know that I am never leaving his side no matter what! I had tears in my eyes! I looked at manik and hugged him! I couldn't even bring myself to thank him as that would be insulting for the love he held for Maa!
"Shh Nandini it's okay! I was there you never need to feel guilty" Manik said comforting me
"Yes betu! No one blames you and your bhaiyu is coming home anytime if he sees you crying he will throw a tantrum toh you better stop crying and give me that prettiest smile" Maa said and I broke the hug and gave maa a small smile
"Maa she won't smile like this we have to use our ninja technique" Manik said with a naughty smirk making maa also smile evilly and next I know is they attack me and started tickling me!
