2. Ace Academy

"I know Aunt, leave it nevermind. I got some homework. I'll go complete that. I'll see you for dinner."

Debora's Pov.

"Phew" I sighed.

I know Aunt's right. I shouldn't get into fights at least not while I am an exchange student but just thinking about what they did made my blood boil.

Flashback

[In School]

"Ringgggg" the bell sounded. Come on man, I was really starting to enjoy the class. English class was over, so now we had a break, putting my books in my bag. I got up to leave.

"Bye Ms. Gracie"

"Debora, could you wait a moment."

"Sure Ms. Gracie"

"Debora I just wanted to tell you. A few teachers and myself know what you are doing and we are super-" she started. "Sorry to interrupt you Ma'am, but I am not doing anything wrong. I swear"

"I was talking about the fact that you are standing up to those rich snobbish bullies. Someone needs to show them their place. And I have a feeling you get that job done. Quite well if I may add. If you ever need any help call for me. I'll come, I promise. And if possible fight where there are cameras. So it can prove your innocence." She winked.

Ok, wow I was so expecting a scolding. "Thanks Ms. Gracie. I will keep that in mind. See you later."

I was on my way to the cafeteria along with Xenia. To meet few of our friends.

I went to see what happened. There was a crowd of people who were standing and watching. Like seriously, is there a circus or some drama going on that I don't know about.

I asked a boy nearby what was happening he just tapped the person ahead of him. And slowly a path parted. I was shocked to say the least.

Martin, his girlfriend Brittany and a couple of their friends were bullying two girls. One was being held by Brittany and another was on the floor.

"Hey moron. Keep your hands off them."

"Debora stay out of this. Don't interfere with us and our business." Brittany said or rather screeched.

I walked to them "Look I don't care. Ok. Keep your hands off them." I said. Their hands were still on them. Brittany made a mistake. Well, to be more precise she tried to slap me.

So I did the only logical thing. Ok well maybe not that logical. I grabbed her hand in a tight grip making her lose her grip on the girl. And then I twisted her wrist.

"Aaaahhhhhh" she screeched. Another tried to put their hand on me. Keyword 'tried' ended up getting punched by Xe. I popped her wrist and left her.

I turned to the girls. "Hey, you'll ok?" I questioned. The girls raised their heads.

"Mariah, Martha." Martha's head had a cut and was bleeding, her nose was blooded and she was holding her arm as if in pain. Mariah was comparatively better only a blooded nose.

"WHAT THE BLOODY HELL. HOW DARE YOU HIT THEM." I yelled.

Scaring them all. I hit Martin, well rather punched him straight in the face. "I don't tolerate bullying you know that. But seriously, my friend, you're so dead now."

Brittany tried to come at me so I punched Brittany's plastic barbie face. Then another tried their hand on me. Oh well, it was just Martin. I held his fisted hand effectively stopping his punch. Gasps could be heard, apparently well he 'is' supposed to be the strongest. Well now - was. I twisted his arm and kicked him.

"Hey, why are you hurting us? They are the ones out of place. Orphans. They are just poor filthy orphans. How dare they come here to Ace Academy." One of the snobby rich kids said.

"Ya. They are nobodies."

"Nothing but orphans."

"Poor filthy orphans that's all they are."

"They probably killed their parents."

"Their parents must have thought dying was better than raising them."

"Ya their parents probably didn't want them."

I was starting to tune everything out. ORPHANS. POOR. Was it a crime to be one.

Then I heard the last 3 statements. Oh holy shit. God save them from me now.

And well I ended up going beast mode.

[Back in Knight manor]

Well let's just say none of them are dead. They only have a few broken bones well mostly only broken noses and black eyes as Xe stopped me. Lucky for them.

Mariah and Martha are my friends. They are super smart. They entered Ace Academy on scholarship basis. So ya, they are super smart. I had helped them before they told me it was only verbal. I really liked them, we became friends. But what I saw today says it was more. So as per the nurse the girls are supposed to rest for the next 3 days so they won't come to school.

God why didn't I notice anything. How could I be so blind so dumb. How could I call myself their friend.

As for Martin and his gang their parents were called. Let's just say his dad wasnt happy he got his butt kicked by a girl. Sexist moron but then again. Like father like son.

They were suspended for a week and they were supposed to submit a written apology to Mariah and Martha. A comparatively light punishment.

Well homework's over. Now that I am done. I need to talk to someone or I am so going to break something. Just on que.
My phone rang. Not looking at the caller Id I picked up.

"Hello, not in the mood right now. So make it snappy."

"Hi, sister assuming your day didn't quite go well. So tell me what happened that made my Ora so annoyed."

"Esther. Jeez. Are you a telepath or something? you always call when I am down."

I could hear her chuckle. "Call it a sister's instinct. So tell me what happened?"
